The Assassins Red
(The Color trilogy)
By Matrix
I can picture my hands covered in deep red blood, from last week's kill it was so much fun.
The copper smell still sticks strongly to my leather jacket, like it was just yesterday.
I licked my lips well searching for my next target, everything had a sweat, alcohol, and sweet perfume smell. Finding a bitch that's worth it is difficult but it normally never takes this long, maybe I'm just getting picky.
I almost had one half an hour ago but after a dance or two she shined he with a toothy smile and it was not very toothy at all.
I like killing a woman, not something I really want to admit to any old person or they would think I was some kind of crazy murder.
You could call it a fetish, I call it a hobby. I love watching the girls flirt and dance then their facial expression as I kill them.
"TJ my man," Jared knocked me in the shoulder in greeting. "Where have you been? I haven't seen you around here since that accident- I hope it didn't scare you off?" I had to stop from myself from tensing about the last instance.
"It's fine, man we lost a lot of costumes after the instant with the police; I still can't believe they raided this place just because they tracked a murder back here. Even then after all that they never caught him." The dark aura around the conversation must have set in because he rapidly tried to change it. "Anyway to welcome you back I will buy you a drink."
"I'll have a Fire Ball On Rocks if you will," my voice low and ruff.
"Coming at you," Jared walked behind the counter and started pulling stuff out to make my drink.
Well, he was doing that I let my eyes wander the floor for any prey worth my time.
There seems to be a quiet crowd today, there are three lady's standing in a circle dancing together; like a wall blocking the prey- the men around them couldn't get near.
Frowning I looked around the edges of the floor to see if there were any other females even here. At this point, I was thinking of just up and leaving with this sea pretty much empty.
Then I heard it, the loud thudding sounds of heels hitting the hard floor. Just hearing the sound made it seem very strong and fierce, I want to see the owner of that sound.
I desperately searched the floor for her, hungry for what I hope to be my next prey.
There just coming from the front entrance was a lady in red, her sun-kissed skin looked perfect. Her hair black with large curls hanging perfectly from her head.
I couldn't see her face very well with this darn lighting, but her curvy body says it's likely perfect also.
"TJ! Serves up-" a glass came sliding down the counter, snapping me out of my daze I dropped my hand down to catch it.
"Watch it, Jared," I growled watching a drip of liquid run down the side of the cup where it had splashed over.
"You're normally really good about your reflex's, something on your mind?" Signing I turned to where the lady was on the dance floor and watched as she started to sway her hips.
"Who's the female in red?" Jared looked up from washing a wine glasses.
He looking around the floor until he found who I've been looking at for the last two songs. "Ah, you mean the lady in red. She has been coming here a lot but won't dance with any of the guys and if you touch her she will smack you and walk off."
Well, she seems like much harder prey now.
Her hips swayed back and forth tempting any man who watches like a siren song. I can't help but be captured by the way she moved. Her face blank of any emotion and seem to be singing to the song with small whispers from her lips.
I walked towards her, watching every step she made, she must have felt my glance at her for she looked up. Her dark brown eyes stared at me without fright, I flinched at how piercing they seemed, then she blinked and she looked pure. She smiled wide and beckoned me with her hand, literally inviting herself to be killed.
I smirked and grabbed her waist standing behind her I swing back and forth at the same time as her hips.
Her pace didn't stop but the aura around us seem to dissipate for the other guy who where looking at her seem to look away in distaste. Smiling at my luck I lean down and whispered next to her ear, "Let's meet in the hall in three."
She smiled hugely and pushed my hands from her waist, then walk to the doorway that leads to the hall of bedrooms. I walked over to the bar and downed the last of my drink, I think that's enough time.
I waved bye to James in a short nod then walked thru the doorway that leads to the bedrooms. The aura changed dramatically, going from purple and green jazzy colors to red and black, sexy.
It had almost a haunted feel to it, the loud clicking of heels didn't help.
One of the doors to the bedrooms opened, dark brown eyes and wavy hair peeked around the corner. It seemed like she was teasing me, for she sent me a wink then just disappeared around the door again.
That was a huge turn on, my walking speed to the bedroom sped up with each step.
The bedroom completely dark making it seem like there's no one there, I could swear saw her walk into here.
There was a small humming sound then the sound of the door closing behind me, I turned to see the girl walking towards me. She looked much younger up close, and she seems to be humming with a grin.
Something about her aura seems to strike less sexy and more dangerous now. I extended my claws and growled hoping it will give me the rush it normally does when they scream.
I got a different reaction, she jumped me. Normally I would be turned on my this but it just ended up pissing me more off, like why the fuck is she not scared of me?
We fell on to the floor, my head hit the floor hard, sending black spots across my vision.
I threw my weight into grabbing her neck, so I was now on top of her holding tight on to her neck, but not too hard to break it.
"What do you think you're doing bitch?"
She gasps for breath, one hand clawing at my hand well the other seems to be sliding up her leg. The sudden glint of silver from her other hand throws me off and I go to push away, a sudden burst of pain in my gut surprises me. My hands fly to the side of my gut that seems to be laced with pain.
I fall to my knees, well she is up and ready to attack again. it was then that a see that I was not hunting her but she was hunting me.
"Ring around the rosy," she sang well yanking the dagger from my gut.
I yelped, "come on lady you don't want to do this. You gave me a scare, we walk away from this, and I never do it again. Sound fair?"
She swung the blade at my neck, "Pocket full of posies," I fell onto my back trying to hold on to my wound.
I was no longer in the mood to play this game, normally it's a good scare, a bang, and some hiding of the body. So what if they died, that doesn't affect me.
"Ashes," I rolled over to miss the knife that was thrown that where I was once laying.
"Ashes," she reached behind her neck and pulled another dagger from what I can guess was hidden by her long hair.
Her knee planted itself on my chest, my eyesight was starting to have a black rim around it, I'm dying.
"We all fall down," the last words I hear as my eyesight goes black well something hot runs across my neck.
