I was an unwanted intrusion in a picture-perfect world. Breaking the false illusion by shattering the empty mold.
I could hear the whispered words, laced with venom meant for me. It seemed I needed to be taught a lesson; in what I "couldn't see".
I never ran out of smart-ass things to say, what did it matter? No one liked me anyway.
But then you came along, just like I always knew you would. Desperately I fell in love, still, I knew you were no good.
