Amu cried as her mother was swept away from her. Amu ran toward her mother but the huge crowd of bustling people made it to difficult to catch up. Amu fell down, her little legs got scrapped up. The crowd passed and her mother was no where to be seen. Amu stood up and started to cry. All the sudden she herd a sad tune being played on a violin. She followed the sound and peeked around the corner to see a blue haired boy playing the sadistic tune. He looked a bit older than her about by 5 years. Amu was 7. She didn't dare show herself, afraid he might stop playing his beautiful sad song. As people passed they left coins in his violin case. After he finished the song The crowd around him dispersed. Amu got a better look at the boy and she instantly felt attracted to him. His eyes were a deep midnight blue, they mesmerized her. Her eyes widened as his eyes flickered over to her. She turned red and ducked behind the corner of the building she was hiding behind. She bent down and hugged her knees. She closed her eyes and put her head on her knees and buried her face into her knees. Hot tears started to stream down, she missed her mom but she didn't know where she had gone. "Hey strawberry head!" She herd a voice say. She looked up and saw the boy from earlier. Amu stood up, her pink shorts were dirty and her legs were scrapped up from falling down. She crossed her arms. "I have a name dummy!" She said sticking her tongue out at him. He smirked. "Then what's your name cry baby." He teased. Amu gritted her teeth. Amu wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "It's Amu." She said in a soft voice. The boy Smirked at her. "I'm Ikuto." He said. Amu nodded. "Hi Ikuto." she said quietly. Ikuto chuckled. "Why is a little girl like you out here by yourself?" He asked. "My mom was taken away from me." She said her voice cracking as she held back the tears. Ikuto scoffed. "Are you going to cry now?" He teased. Amu instantly grew mad. "Shut up I'm scared!!!!" She yelled at him. Ikuto's eyes widened as Amu started crying again. "AMU!!!" A deep angry voice called. Amu immediately quieted her cries. She turned around and saw her father. Her eyes widened. "Amu why didn't you come when I called for you, where's your weak of a mother?" He said grabbing Amu's arm Tightly and yanking her toward him. She cried out in pain. "Mommy left you because you beat her!!" Amu cried. Her father stopped and looked at her. Amu's widened as her fathers hand rose up. "No daddy!" she cried out as she put her hands. His hand made contact with her face and she cried. Ikuto's eyes widened. Amu's father was abusive? No wonder she was so scared. Ikuto ran over to Amu and helped her up. Her fathers punch had knocked her to the ground. She looked at him, her eyes pleading for help. He held her close and glared at Amu's father. "You better move boy!" He yelled. Ikuto could feel Amu shaking as he hugged her. Her face was in his chest, hidden from her fathers view. She had a tight grasp on his shirt and she clung to him tighter. Ikuto tightened his grip on her. "I said move boy!" Her father yelled in anger. He swung a fist at the two kids Ikuto shielded Amu and took the hit. Amu gasped and looked up at Ikuto. He had got hit right on his rib cage. Ikuto grabbed Amu's hand punched her father in the stomach and ran away, pulling Amu behind him. They ran for a long time. Ikuto brought her into an old hotel that was no longer in use. He let go of Amu and she sat on the bed in the room they were in. "Ikuto why did you do that you should of left!" Amu yelled. Ikuto smirked. "I saved you didn't I?" He said as he set his violin down. Amu stood up and walked over to him. "Let me see!" She demanded. Ikuto looked at her. "I'm fine I can take care of myself." He said. Amu shook her head and pulled on his hand. "I know that's not true." She said. Ikuto sighed. "I'm fine really!" Ikuto said pushing her away. "I don't buy it now let me see!" she yelled as she came close to him. Ikuto's heart pounded, he was nervous, but he smirked. "There's no changing your mind is there?" He asked. Amu smiled. "Please?" She asked. Ikuto laughed but he winced as his ribs gave him sharp pains. Amu slid his shirt off and gasp as she saw a huge purple bruise. "Ikuto...why?" She whispered as she covered her mouth. "I didn't want him hurting your pretty face anymore." Ikuto said as he shrugged. Amu bit her lips as she looked at the rest of his body. He was pretty good looking for a 12 year old. She shook her head and took the sheet off the bed and tore it into strips. She started gently wrapping it around him. after she finished she tied it and started to pull her hands away when Ikuto grabbed them. She gasped and looked up at him. "Ikuto?" She questioned. He smiled. "Thank you Amu." He said. Amu shook her head. "No Ikuto thank you." She said as she leaned up and kissed his cheek. Ikuto blushed a little. "Your cute you know that strawberry." He teased. Amu turned red. "Shut up!" She said. Ikuto laughed, but even though it hurt he was truly happy. something he hardly ever felt these days. He leaned down and gave Amu a hug. She instantly hugged him back, she welcomed his warmth. As night came in Amu crawled into the bed. "Are you coming to bed yet?" Amu asked. Ikuto smiled as he looked away from the window and looked at her small figure in the huge queen sized bed. He smiled. "Not just yet my strawberry." He said. She frowned. "Well why not?" She pouted. Ikuto laughed. "Cause I'm not ready princess." He said. He couldn't help but think they sounded like a married couple, the way they were talking. Amu crawled out of bed and walked over to Ikuto. "When will you be coming to bed?" She innocently asked. Ikuto felt his heart pound again. "Just go to bed, I'll be there soon." He said as he shoved her toward the bed. She looked back at him with an angry look but crawled back into the bed. She turned her back to him and closed her eyes. He sighed and stared at her. Why? Why did she make his heart pound like this? Why did he get so nervous? He sighed. 'I'm falling in love with a seven year old girl.' he thought to himself. He shook his head and walked over to the window. He stared up at the stars and sighed. Like Amu he had lost his parents. But unlike Amu his father walked away willingly. Poor Amu, she lost her mother and had an abusive father. He looked back over at Amu and stared at her frail, little, vulnerable body. It rose up and down frequently as she breathed. He smiled. "We still have each other." He whispered as he walked over to her. Her back was still turned to him but he leaned over and kissed her head. She groaned and curled up into a ball. He quietly chuckled and walked around to the other side of the bed. He hopped in and stayed his distance from the little girl. When he woke up the next morning he felt something beside him. He looked over and saw Amu curled up cutely next to him. He smiled and sat up. Amu stirred and opened her eyes. Her warmth had left? She looked around and saw she was sleeping very very close to Ikuto. Ikuto smirked. "Just can't stay away from me can you?" He teased. Amu blushed. Ikuto slid out of the bed. "Alright Amu time for some lessons!" Ikuto said. Amu scrambled out of the bed after him. "Lessons?" She questioned. Ikuto smirked. "if your going to stay here you have to carry your own wait!" He said. Amu nodded and he smiled. That day Ikuto taught Amu how to clean the hotel and how to dig through garbage. Then the last thing he taught her was how to steal, though she was reluctant at first but then got use to it. She tricked people easy and got what she wanted. At the end of the day Amu sighed as she plopped down on the bed. Ikuto again stared out at the stares. Amu fell fast asleep as she looked at Ikuto. When she woke up, she did everything Ikuto taught her and day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year Amu and Ikuto grew closer until at last Amu was 14 and Ikuto was 20. Amu sighed as she plopped on the bed like she did every night after working with Ikuto. Ikuto had started letting Amu sing to his violin and they made money. That night though Ikuto knew they had to move. The building was falling apart and the construction workers would no doubt find their stolen goods over the years. He walked over to the sleeping Amu. He smiled at her as she breathed in and out in a pattern. He leaned down and kissed her on the head, like he did every night. Amu never knew though so he was content for now but once Amu turned 12 he found himself having dirty thoughts about her. Amu was 14 now. She could find a job and start making money. She could have a better future if he wasn't around. Ikuto laid beside her and she immediately cuddled him. He smirked and wrapped his arms around her. He never done that before but He wanted to feel her body pressed up against his. Amu woke up right then and looked at Ikuto's memorizing eyes. Her heart started pounding and her mind was racing. "Amu, I think I love you." Ikuto said. Amu's eyes widen and she smiled. "Aw Ikuto I love you too!" She squealed as she hugged him. As Amu pressed her body against Ikuto's, he smirked. It felt good, too good. He didn't really know why he had confessed but he did. He was glad too, Amu returned his feelings. All the sudden Ikuto could feel a bulge in his pants. He cursed silently. He wasn't going to take Amu's virginity, not yet anyways. "Amu." He whispered as he pulled her onto of him. She was straddling him. She tried getting off but she only got as far as rubbing against his bulge before Ikuto grabbed her waist and held her there. She looked at him curiously. She was confused. All the sudden her confused look disappeared as she looked into his eyes. She saw lust in his eyes followed by love and passion. She leaned down making Ikuto moan quietly. She gently kissed him softly on the lips. It was her first kiss but she was glad it was Ikuto. When she pulled away Ikuto smirked at her. "Don't tease Amu." He said as he switch positions. Now he was on top. He needed to relieve his hardness but he wasn't going to do that to Amu. Amu moaned as he pressed it against her. "Ikuto." She moaned as he sucked on her neck. She was scared and nervous but she completely trusted Ikuto. Ikuto started trailing kisses up her neck all the way to he lips. She moan and arched her back when Ikuto rubbed her. He smirked, still kissing her. He slid his tongue into her mouth and she moaned. He pulled away after exploring her mouth. He smirked and pulled his hand away from her core. She was panting from being rubbed. "Ikuto." She panted. He smirked and slid off her. He laid beside her and she smiled and curled up next to him. "Don't leave me Ikuto." She quietly demanded. Ikuto smiled and kissed her forehead. He wrapped his arms around her and they fell asleep. when Amu woke up Ikuto was already out of bed. Amu sat up and smiled at him. He didn't smile back. He knew now that what he did last night was going to make it harder for her when he left. Today they were going to America. Ikuto looked away as he started packing his personal belongings. Amu lost her smile. Why was Ikuto acting like this? Hadn't he confessed his love last night. So was he just playing her? Using her so he could get what he wanted. "Amu, get your stuff were leaving." He said walking out. Amu got off the bed and went to change her clothes. She took off her clothes and was about to put her new ones on but Ikuto walked back in. Amu didn't notice but Ikuto's heart was racing. She slipped on a pair of blue shorts and a black shirt. She turned around and saw Ikuto staring. "Oh Ikuto, I didn't know you came back in." She said in that cold voice she used when she got mad at him. He smirked. "Don't worry about it nothing I haven't seen before." he said, which was true. Ikuto had seen girls in there bra and underwear countless times. But to see Amu's body, his heart pounded. Sure she wasn't fully developed yet but it didn't matter to Ikuto. Amu blushed and then Ikuto lead her to the bus station. The crowd was pushing and pulling on them. Amu grabbed Ikuto's hand, afraid she might lose him like she lost her mother. Ikuto smiled at her and tightened his grip on her hand. "Don't worry I won't leave." He said. it was then that he realized he really did love Amu and that leaving her would break her heart. He was going to stay with her and protect her forever. He hopped on the bus but there was no room to fit Amu. She was running to keep up. "Come Amu!" Ikuto said as he tried pulling her up with there locked hands. It only made her hand slip. All the sudden the police saw Amu and recognized her. "Hey those are the bandits that stole all that stuff!!" He yelled. The 3 cops ran over and grabbed Amu by the waist and pulled on her. Amu's grip tightened on Ikuto's hand. "No let go!!!" Amu screamed at the police. The police yanked on her and she was ripped away from Ikuto. He saw the fear in her eyes, the same fear she had that day they met. Ikuto reached back for her but people pulled him and he was soon gone, lost in the crowd. Amu crumpled in the polices arms. She broke down crying. "You ruined it!" She yelled. A few passerby's looked at them. "What why is she crying what did we ruin?" The police asked themselves. Amu looked up at them with the saddest look they had ever seen. The police felt sorry for her. "You ruined my chance at happiness." She said before her chin trembled again. The police officer that was holding her loosened his grip on Amu. Amu took this chance and slid out of their hold. She ran and ran as she cried and cried. She ran into a blonde haired boy and she fell down. "Wow, sorry... are you okay?" The boy said as he bent over and looked at her. "I'm fine!" She shouted as she stood up. Her stubbornness coming from Ikuto. The boy stood up as well. "You don't look okay to me." He said. Amu scoffed. "Just move out of the way shrimp." She said as she walked off. She wandered through the streets aimlessly until someone found her. "Oh sweetheart, you poor thing, how long have you been out here?" A women asked. A tall brown haired man stood beside her. "Honey leave her we have to go or we'll be late." He said crossing his arms. His manly voice reminded Amu of Ikuto and silent tears started to fall. "Shut up you moron!" The girl shouted as she bashed the man on the head. The man rubbed his head and scowled. The woman turned back to Amu and wiped her tears. "It's okay the big scary man didn't mean it. Here why don't you come home with us and we'll take care of you." The woman said taking Amu's hand. "Hey I'm not a scary man!" The guy argued. Amu was stunned. The man listened to the woman! All she did was hit his head. If only Ikuto listened like that. Ikuto.... if only..... Ikuto were here. This couple they were cute. This woman was like a mother to Amu and the man would surly become her father, if she were to accept the offer that is. He didn't look like the abusive type so maybe Amu could have a family again. She nodded her head and the woman smiled and walked Amu to a wonderful house where she lived for five years until she turned 20 and moved out. She was working her usual shift at the maid cafe where she worked. She still visited her parents often but she never forgot the blue haired boy with eyes the color of midnight. She sighed as she picked up a platter with a coffee cup an coffee on it. She plastered a smile on her face and walked up to the man in a green trench coat and a hat on that concealed his face. "Welcome master. Please come this way master." Amu said as she and the man walked over to an empty table. The man sat down. "Would you like coffee today master?" She asks. "No I think I'll have a shake please." He says. Amu tilted her head, that voice sounded so familiar to her. "Yes I'll get that right away for you master." She said walking away. When she came back with his shake she dropped it on the ground. She stood there shocked. The glass broke but Amu couldn't take her eyes off the man. Her dry lips stuttered out a name. "I-Ikuto?" He smiled. "It's nice to see you Amu." He said. Everyone was looking at them now. Amu still couldn't imagine that this was actually happening. "Amu why don't you take a break for the day." The manager said. Amu looked away from Ikuto and bowed. "Sorry manager I will make it up to you." Amu said. Then her and Ikuto walked out of the cafe. "Surprised to see me?" Ikuto teased. He was amazed to see that Amu's body was quiet grown compared to what he saw 5 years ago. She really filled out nice. It was literally no longer than 10 minutes ago when Ikuto found out where Amu was working at and here he found himself. He wasn't sure what to expect so he was a little shocked himself. "Amu's eyes watered up. "Ikuto.... you lied to me!" She said in soft yet loud voice. Ikuto look at her. He had taken off his hat and sunglasses back in the cafe and revealed himself. "You said you wouldn't leave me!" She cried. Ikuto smiled. "Amu-" She cut him off. "I missed you so much!" She said as she jumped on him and hugged him. "Ikuto was shocked at first but then smiled and hugged her back. "I'm sorry Amu I didn't mean to leave you and I won't ever leave you again." He said. Amu smiled and continued to stay in his embrace. After a while she pulled away. Her tears were dried up and she smiled. "I'm glad your back you have to meet my parents!" Amu said as she grabbed his hand. Ikuto looked at her confused as they walked. "Your parents?" He questioned. Amu smiled. "Yeah they found me after I lost you, they took me in and raised me until I turned 20." She said. Ikuto smiled. "So you did escape the police." He said. Amu smiled. "Yeah I learned from the master." She said as she giggled. Ikuto smiled. He was happy to see her smiling. He stopped walking and she looked at him confused. "What's wrong Ikuto?" She asked. He smirked and grabbed her waist and pulled her close. "Ikuto?" She questioned. "Amu I love you." He said as he kissed her. She instantly kissed back. After what seemed like an eternity he pulled away. Amu smiled. "I still love you Ikuto!" She said. He smiled and the continued to walk, with entwined hands.
