Tea's Little Sister ~Mokuba Kaiba~[Book 1]

Reunited with Mokuba Kaiba

Meanwhile, Yugi and the masked boy went to each sides of their stadium, and then they were slid up to face each other with determined looks on their faces.
"I don't get it. Why is Yugi going to the trouble of dueling this guy when we could just take those star chips away from him?" Joey suddenly asked, confusedly.
"You know, sometimes I don't think even Yugi knows why he does half the stuff he does." Tristan remarked.
"Heh. Yeah, it's kind of weird. Do you think it has something to do with his Millennium Puzzle?" Joey replied in agreement, before Yugi suddenly changed into Yami Yugi!
The boy grunted nervously after seeing Yugi transform into the badass form of himself!
"Now, how many star chips will you wager?" Yami asked the boy, boldly.
"To wipe you out? Five!" The boy answered, as he held up his left hand.
"Then five it is, but only because I think I know why you're doing this." Yami replied coolly, as he took off his glove.
"I don't care what you think, Yugi, cause I think you're gonna lose." The boy scoffed, as he revealed the stolen star chips!
The eye suddenly appeared on Yami's forehead!
"What does Yugi see that we don't? It's like he's looking into the other player's soul." Tea inquired.
"Hey, soul, schmoul. I can see from here that that kid's gonna get his but kicked." Joey replied to Tea, with a snarky tone.
"Maybe, but Yugi should hurry if he plans to get those star chips back to the boat in time." Tristan replied to Joey.
"Don't worry, Tristan. He'll win the chips, and we'll be back at the dock with time to spare." Tea reassured.
Lea still trembled and still had her hands together as in prayer, still hoping to God that the boy was not Mokuba. The two things that made Lea think that that boy was Mokuba was that 1. He did have the same voice as the Mokuba she knew, and 2. He did have the same kind young boy eyes that she knew Mokuba had, but now all she saw in his eyes were the eyes clouded with anger and hatred.
She then shut her eyes tight as her tears started to form in her eyes, then she prayed, 'Please don't be Mokuba.'
"Duel!" Both Yami and the boy shouted together, prepared to duel.
The boy placed one of his cards down in front of himself and summoned his first monster as he announced, "My first card, is the Man-Eating Plant!" 
"Now it's my turn." Yami announced, before he placed his card down in front of himself and summoned his first monster.
"I'll counter your attack, with the Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress!" He announced, as his dragon appeared on the field!
"Ha! Bad choice, Yugi. My Man-Eating Plant will eat your dragon alive." The boy scoffed in reply.
"So now, you're finally gonna pay for what you did, Yugi, and your stupid dragon's gonna be plant food. Man-Eating Plant, attack!" The boy commanded his monster, but before it could do anything... Yami shouted out.
"Fireball attack!" He commanded his monster, before it went to breathe fire on the Man-Eating Plant, and it disappeared for good!
"Huh? My monster lost?" The boy asked himself, as he discovered that his life points went down to 1400! 
"You can't win a duel with cards that don't rightfully belong to you. How could your heart ever live in cards that belong to someone else?" Yami told the boy, coolly.
"Be quiet. I don't believe in that 'Heart of the Cards' stuff you keep preachin' about. Cards have nothing to do with heart. It's all about power!" The boy retorted, as he scoffed.
"Yes, I can see it now. I sensed a connection to Kaiba. You're his brother! You're Mokuba!" Yami exclaimed, as he figured out who the boy was!
After Yami revealed the boy's name, Lea's eyes widened, and she opened her mouth widely as her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach!
"How did you know?!" The boy exclaimed, as his eyes widened that Yami revealed who he was! Then he removed his bandana to uncover his mouth.
"Well, it doesn't matter!" He said, as he tried not to give a crap that he was revealed.
"Look!" Joey exclaimed.
"It is Kaiba's little brother!" Tea exclaimed as well.
Lea just stood there stunned for a moment, then she felt herself faint as she fell to the ground, losing consciousness.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock when they saw that Lea had passed out! 

Mokuba also felt shocked and worried when he saw Lea faint, but to shake the feeling off, he removed his beanie to reveal his lovely hair as he spoke, "That's right. Seto Kaiba is my brother, and he's the best Duelist that there ever was."
With that, Mokuba threw his beanie to the side and continued as he trembled in anger, "But now thanks to Yugi, he's gone, and Pegasus is trying to take over KaibaCorp."
"Pegasus wants KaibaCorp.?" Yami asked, in disbelief.
"I don't know what you did to my big brother when you dueled, Yugi, but ever since that defeat, he hasn't been the same." Mokuba replied sorrowfully, as he remembered the time when Pegasus moved into KaibaCorp...
**Flashback**
"He ran away cause of you, and with him gone, Pegasus moved right in. Some KaibaCorp. executives invited him to some kind of secret board meeting." Came Mokuba's voice, as he story-told what happened.
"Now, gentlemen. Let's see if I understand your proposition. Seto Kaiba had abandoned his corporate station, and now you five wish to seize control of KaibaCorp. You then want to merge with my company, and you'd like me to handle any messy details, yes?" Pegasus announced to all the men, as Mokuba opened the door to take a peek at what they were talking about...
"Precisely, Mr. Pegasus. With our money and your leadership, we will easily take control of KaibaCorp." One of the men agreed.
"Do tell." Pegasus grinned.
"For our plan to succeed, Kaiba must be taken out of the picture, permanently." One of the guys suggested, coolly.
"However, there is one catch. As per the corporate bylaws, only the Kaiba family member can legally control KaibaCorp." Another guy chimed in.
Pegasus grinned at the idea.
"To that end, Pegasus: We recommend kidnapping Kaiba's brother, Mokuba. In name, he will control KaibaCorp., but we will control him." Another guy suggested.
"Do these things for us, and we will lay all of KaibaCorp.'s technology at your feet." Another guy chimed in.
"Agreed. The elder Kaiba shall meet with an accident, and the younger Kaiba will be captured." Pegasus agreed, arrogantly.
"Excellent. But we have one final condition. The brat who beat Kaiba has tarnished KaibaCorp.'s good name, and we must insist that you restore it."
What the guy said made Mokuba's eyes widen!
"Well, how fortuitous. Plans for me to duel Yugi are already under way." Pegasus commented in agreement, as he glanced at Mokuba!
Mokuba then backed away as he discovered that he was caught, but he was unable to run when he saw that Kemo was right in front of him!
With that, Kemo picked up Mokuba, who was squirming to get free, and he brought the young boy inside the meeting.
"Let me go, you creeps!"  Mokuba demanded, as he squirmed to get free while ranting.
"I heard everything, and when I tell my big brother, you're gonna--"
With Mokuba's rant still going on, Pegasus grinned.
"You see, gentlemen? This is how efficiently you can expect me to handle our business. Young Kaiba is captured, Yugi will be defeated, and Seto Kaiba will bother us no more." Pegasus vowed, before he laughed.
**End of flashback**
Mokuba trembled in anger as his hand was balled up into a fist, then he snapped at Yami angrily, "It's all your fault! Seto deserted me 'cause of you!"
"You don't understand. Mokuba, your brother hasn't deserted you. He's searching for himself." Yami tried to reassure Mokuba, calmly.
"Liar! Tell it to my monster!" Mokuba snapped back, before he summoned his next monster.
"Go, Crocodilus!" Mokuba commanded his monster, before it went to attack Yami's dragon, but it was no use because it breathed fire on the Crocodilus, and it was smashed to bits!
Mokuba felt really pissed off by now as he discovered that his life points went down to 1100 points!
"Battling me won't bring your brother back, and we want to stop Pegasus as much as you do. He's taken my grandfather prisoner." Yami explained to Mokuba, firmly.
"That's right! Pegasus is the bad guy here! Can't you see that, you crazy little kid?!" Joey chimed in.
"You're wrong. I have to protect my brother's company, and Yugi's the one Pegasus has to beat in order to take it over!" Mokuba snapped back, as Yami just stared at him with nothing to say...
Then it hit Tea!
"Wait, I get it. Mokuba is trying to save his brother's company by defeating Yugi in a duel, so Pegasus doesn't get to face Yugi at all!" She observed.
"What do you mean?" Tristan, who held the unconscious Lea bridal style, asked Tea.
"What do you mean "What do I mean"?" Joey demanded, slightly annoyed.
"I wasn't talkin' to you!" Tristan shot back, before Joey put his hand to his head and chuckled awkwardly as he eyed Tea and asked her.
"Sorry, what'd you mean, Tea?"
Tea sighed in exasperation at Joey's question, then she answered in a serious tone, "If Mokuba can keep Pegasus from beating Yugi, then he won't be able to take over Kaiba's company."
"Ah, that must be it!" Yami agreed in realization, before he turned to face Mokuba... but he was nowhere to be seen.
"Huh? Where'd he go?" Yami questioned confusedly, before all of a sudden... Mokuba appeared behind him!
"If I can't beat you, I'll have you disqualified!" Mokuba snapped angrily, as he snatched Yami's star chips away.
"My star chips!" Yami exclaimed, before Mokuba began to run while holding the star chips.
"Hold up, you little punk!" Tristan snapped, as he and the others began to run after Mokuba.
"Mokuba! Listen to me! You'll never save Kaiba Corporation that way!" Yami yelled pleadedingly, before Mokuba stopped and turned around to face him with a questioning look on his face.
"Your big brother is just confused. After I defeated Kaiba in our duel, I opened his mind. I removed from him all the dark influences that clouded his thoughts and actions. Free of that evil essence, Kaiba is struggling. Now your brother realizes that his way wasn't the right way, and he's searching his heart for answers, and you know in your heart what you're doing isn't the right way either." Yami explained to Mokuba, passionately.
Mokuba felt himself wanting to cry as he looked the other way, but to prevent that from happening, he turned around to face Yami with a painfully honest look in his face.
"But then, what can I do?" Mokuba asked, desperately.
"You can start by trusting in me, and together we will defeat Pegasus." Yami answered, as he made a vow.
Mokuba just looked at Yami for a moment, a bit conflicted.
"I promise you. We can only bring Pegasus down if we stick together. We'll help you protect your brother, Mokuba, but you've got to help us, ok? You've got to go back and return those cards and star chips to the kid you stole them from."
"You're right, Yugi." Mokuba agreed softly, before he spoke in determination.
"Then we'll take on Pegasus together!"
"We've only got 3 minutes left till the boat leaves." Tea warned, urgently.
"Let's get going, Mokuba!" Yami instructed.  
Mokuba just stayed silent until he spoke up, "Let's do it!"
Then he glanced at Tristan, who was still carrying Lea, and both his face and heart softened as his gaze landed on the young girl...
"But first, please put Lea down. I want to make sure she's okay." Mokuba told Tristan, softly.
Tristan was confused for a moment, but he shrugged and slowly and carefully placed Lea down on the ground. With that, Mokuba ran over to her, then he knelt down in front of her and held her in his arms as he slowly tried to shake her awake.
"Lea, Lea! Wake up! Are you okay?!" He tried to wake her up, then all of a sudden... Lea slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw when she woke up was the kind young boy that she knew and developed feelings for.
"Mokuba?" She whispered, softly.
Mokuba smiled softly at her, but he frowned and looked the other way as he sighed, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you Seto Kaiba was my brother, Lea. I was just afraid you might judge me and make fun of me as the others did."
Lea stared at him for a moment, then she sat up and hugged him tightly as she laid her head on his warm chest. Mokuba suddenly felt his cheeks dust a pale shade of pink at her touch, but he had the desire of hugging her back and held her as tight as he could, never wanting to let her go. It was then that his heart was beating...
"It's okay, Mokuba. Even if you did tell me, I would have accepted it anyway, because I trust you." Lea replied softly, before she slowly shut her eyes and sighed, melting into his arms, his scent, and his warmth as she always did, and was happy to be with him again. She then smiled a little when she heard his heartbeat, she just couldn't help but think how beautiful it sounded... 
Mokuba smiled softly, feeling happy that he got to see Lea again. It had been a long while since he had been close to her, but now she was there with him again, and he held her for as long as he could, not wanting this moment to end, until suddenly...
"Uh, return the star chips now, hug later..." Came both Joey and Tristan's voices from behind the pair. 
Mokuba and Lea's eyes widened when they heard the two guys talking to them, so they both broke apart from each other and stood up to their feet. Then everyone began to head on their way to return the star chips back to the young boy, whom Mokuba had stolen from.
As they all ran, Tea looked at her little sister, happy at the fact that Lea had actually found someone she was actually in love with! But she couldn’t help but feel a little envy, and she glanced at Yami, or perhaps Yugi, as she wished that she and him could have that type of affection towards each other. She then blushed really hard at the thought of that, and smiled softly as she knew that she and Yami or Yugi will have that type of affection towards each other someday... she just needed to wait for the right time was all.
