Prison sadness

A/N: Sorry if this chapter is so short, but God, that was just all I could think of for this sweet and tender chapter, so please bear with me. Also, to be honest with you guys, you seriously don't know how long I've been wanting to write this! ❤️

Meanwhile, Lea appeared to be unconscious, but she slowly opened her eyes, only to discover that where she was at was very dark and damp, she even discovered that she no longer had her pigtails on, and her hair was down. She then started to feel violated and angry as she imagined how Pegasus, Kemo, or whoever would have taken off her pigtails while she was unconscious. 
The first two things that appeared right out of her eyes was that her legs were being restrained with chains, and she also saw somebody's legs restrained with chains as well right next to hers, and the only person that Lea could encounter it to be was the boy she adored.
"Mokuba?" She whispered, softly. 
Startled, Mokuba quickly turned his head to face her, and at the sight of Lea awake, he felt relieved, "Lea! Thank God you're okay!"
"I'm fine. Where are we?"
Mokuba frowned at that question, so he turned around and lowered his head as he answered solemnly, "In one of Pegasus' dungeons."
With that answer, Lea was stunned and she felt frightened by now. 
"But... I thought Yugi won." She whispered, almost sounding like she was choking. 
"He did win, Lea. But unfortunately, Kemo tricked us." Mokuba replied, before he let out a sigh. 
Lea just sat there and stared at Mokuba for a moment, feeling stunned as ever. Then she turned her head to the front and sighed, "I'm sorry, Mokuba." 
Mokuba's eyes widened when he heard her apologize, so he quickly lifted up his head and turned it to face her while asking softly, "Why, Lea? Why are you sorry?" 
"I just didn't think that Kemo would be that smart enough to trick us. Thanks to my stupid sacrifice of surrendering my staff, I got myself in here." She answered softly, before she felt a tear stream down her face as her voice began to break. 

"I wasn't strong enough to save you, Mokuba. I'm sorry." 
She then shut her eyes, about to cry, but then...
"Lea, look at me." Mokuba instructed firmly, before Lea turned her head to face him.
"It isn't your fault, Lea. You only did it in order to be with me, because you knew that I was feeling scared about that faker who was pretending to be my big brother, and I thank you for that." He told her, softly. Lea just looked at Mokuba for a moment, not really knowing what to say...
It was then that Mokuba held out his hand, which made Lea curious. 
"Come here." He gestured, before Lea slowly took his hand, and with that, he pulled her closer to him and placed his hands to her shoulders as he spoke softly to her.
"And listen, it may or may not be possible, but I know my big brother will come here and rescue us, and when he does, we'll get you back to your sister and the others. I promise." 
Even if Lea had the feeling of doubt that they might be rescued, she just slowly nodded her head in agreement anyway... 

Mokuba suddenly noticed Lea's expression of doubt, so he smiled softly and tenderly as he added in a soft whisper while placing both of his hands on both of her cheeks, which made them dust a pale shade of pink, "But even if we don't get rescued, just know that I'll always be by your side... no matter what happens." 
Lea just looked into his eyes a little longer as those words began to touch her, and all she saw in his eyes were filled with truth and honesty. But she was still scared, so she began shaking and shutting her eyes tightly, trying to prevent her tears from coming out, but she was unable to, so she buried her face into his shoulder, crying even harder. Mokuba then wrapped his arms around her tightly and securely, and he ran his fingers through her hair so he can pet it comfortingly. As he did so, Mokuba just couldn't help but think how soft her hair felt...
He then faced the front and thought about his big brother, hoping to God that he will come and rescue him and Lea.
