Yugi Muto vs Seto Kaiba part 1

The gravity and tension were palpable as Yami and Kaiba faced off, each holding one of Kaiba's duel disks. 
"Yugi, here's the deal." Kaiba started, as he presented his handful of star chips. 
"We'll each wager five star chips on this duel and the winner will be the only one who earns the right to enter the main castle." He continued, as he made a deal. 
Yami took out the five stars from his glove and said, "Done. Five chips." 
Each Duelist threw his five chips across to the other, and they sparkled in the air. Kaiba brandished the throwing disk portion of his gear.
"We'll use my duel disk system. Insert your shuffled deck into the card recognition slot." Kaiba instructed, before both he and Yami slotted their cards into the holders on their wrists. 
"Life Points automatically set to two thousand." Kaiba continued, as each small screens on the wrist holders lit up, each displaying Life Points, then the numbers counted up to halt at 2000. 
"Take him! Ya did it once, Yugi, so we know that you can do it again!" Joey cheered Yami on.

"Yeah!" Tristan chimed in. 
"That's right!" Tea agreed. 
"All right. Are you ready to duel, Kaiba?" Yami asked, boldly. 
"This is it, Yugi! Whoever wins, faces Pegasus! And whoever loses, well, you'll be left a broken man!" Kaiba snapped. 
"We'll see who gets broken, Kaiba! I will defeat you once and for all!" Yami snapped back, as he pointed his finger at Kaiba. 
"Let's duel!" Both Yami and Kaiba announced together. 
"Stand back and prepare for battle!" Kaiba taunted with anger, before he threw his disk to the ground by summoning his first monster. 
"I play Ryukishin, in attack mode!" He announced, as his monster appeared on the field. 
Then Kaiba's hand of cards fanned in front of him, each card was as tall as he was. There was the Battle Ox, the Saggi the Dark Clown, the Ancient Lamp, and Blue Eyes White Dragon. 
"Look! The cards!" Tea exclaimed. 
"They're holograms, just like the monsters!" Joey exclaimed as well. 
Like Kaiba, Yami had placed the four cards of his hand around his disk's outer panels, and the monster he was summoning faced up on the center panel. He prepared to throw it. 
"On your guard." Yami started, before he threw the disk.
"I play Curse of Dragon, in attack mode!" He announced, as his monster appeared as requested. 
Stats appeared for both monsters, now that the first turn of the duel was complete. 
"Huh! Well done. A formidable card, Yugi, and a play I would expect from a Duelist of your caliber." Kaiba scoffed. 
"Don't patronize me!" Yami shot back. 
"Yugi, I know from playing you you're a talented duelist, but you're just not as good as I am. Listen up, only one Duelist is gonna challenge Pegasus and that's me!" Kaiba announced, firmly. 
"Wrong." Yami snarled. 
"Then attack, and find out. What's the matter, Yugi? No faith in your monster?" Kaiba taunted. 
"You'll see, he's mightier than yours! Go, Curse of Dragon! Attack Ryukishin! Dragon Flame!!" Yami commanded his monster, before the Curse of Dragon soared higher, and singed Ryukishin off the field. 
"There! Ryukishin is no more!" Yami announced seriously, before Kaiba's life points went down to 1600. Kaiba caught his disk when it retracted. 
"Hm. You're good, but oh so predictable. Don't you think I expected that attack? And once again, you've played right into my hands, Yugi." Kaiba taunted coolly, but Yami didn't twitch. 
"He's bluffin'! You already got Kaiba on the ropes! All right, go Yugi!" Joey cheered Yami on. 
Kaiba took out his card and said coolly, "It's not a bluff, as you will all soon see." 
Then he looked at his card for a moment, and what he saw made him smirk, so he drew and threw the disk. 
"I play, Swordstalker!" He announced, as his monster appeared on the field.  
"The Swordstalker gathers the life force of a fallen ally, raising his own attack power by twenty percent! Watch." Kaiba explained, as a ghostly fog wrapped around the Swordstalker's blade, causing it to flame blue and the Swordstalker's attack points went up to 2400. Yami's mouth dropped open in shock! 
'So that's why Kaiba allowed his Ryukishin to be defeated so easily! So he could use its energy to create an even stronger monster. And now that he's done that, his Swordstalker's attack strength, is even greater than that of my Curse of Dragon!' He thought to himself, nervously. 
"Attack now, Swordstalker! Vengeance Strike!" Kaiba commanded his monster, before the Curse of Dragon glowed, then it disappeared. The Swordstalker's swiped right through the Curse of Dragon! 
"What?! The Curse of Dragon disappeared!" Kaiba exclaimed, in disbelief. 
"That's because I laid a Monster Replace magic card on the field." Yami replied boldly, before one of the holographic cards that was facing Yami turned around
"This card switches the monster on the field with the monster in my hand that has the highest attack power!" Yami explained, which made Kaiba shocked as hell! 
"And you know what that means. The creature with the greatest attack power in my hand, is the Dark Magician! Dark Magic Attack!" Yami announced, as his Dark Magician appeared on the field. 
Then the sorcerer held his staff forward and fired a blast of pink light. Swordstalker reversed color, then shattered with a stifled shriek. 
"The Dark Magician vanquishes your Swordstalker!" Yami said firmly, before Kaiba's life points went down to 1500. 
"All right! Hey, Kaiba! Yugi put the moves on you again!" Joey called out to Kaiba, proudly. 
"Hmph. Clueless. If those fools only knew, what I have in store." Kaiba scoffed. 
"Now I can replay Curse of Dragon, in attack mode!" Yami announced, before the big card turned around and the Curse of Dragon appeared on the field. 
"Your move, Kaiba!" Yami stated, firmly. 
The disk was retracted on its cord through Kaiba's holographic cards, and those folded themselves to the side and disappeared. Kaiba stood there nonchalantly, disk in hand and the other hand in his pocket. 
"I'll take on your magic, with a magician of my own!" He growled, before he threw his disk by summoning his next monster. 
"I summon La Jinn, the Mystical Genie!" He announced, as his monster appeared on the field. 
"My wish is his command!" Kaiba taunted, as his cards fanned around him again. 
"Dark Magician, attack La Jinn! Dark Magic Attack!" Yami commanded his monster. 
"Your attack activates my trap! The Ancient Lamp! First it protects my Genie by drawing him into the lamp." Kaiba snapped back, as La Jinn was being sucked into the lamp. 
"What?" Yami exclaimed, in disbelief. 
The Dark Magician's attack blasted forth. The lamp reversed color, then it flared with multicolored light. 
"Then the lamp deflects your attack, turning it back on your monster!" Kaiba taunted, as the multicolored blast hit the Curse of Dragon, which vanished with a cry. 
"Which lowers your score to equal mine!" Kaiba added, with a grin on his face. 
Yami snarled as his life points went down to 1500!
"Fuck!" Jill exclaimed in disbelief, while Tristan was stunned, Joey was angry, and Tea and Bakura were worried.
"Reflect upon the incredible defensive powers of my Ancient Lamp!" Kaiba taunted. 
Yami repositioned his cards on the disk surfaces, and dashed it to the ground. 
"My deflected attack may have destroyed Curse of Dragon, but I still have the Dark Magician!" Yami announced firmly, before he smiled a challenge. 
"Kaiba, for all your bragging, the score is tied. We're evenly matched." Yami taunted, and Kaiba returned the smile in kind. 
'Hmph! Yugi doesn't suspect that so far my maneuvers, clever as they are, are all just ploys to distract him from my real plan to assemble all three Blue Eyes in my deck, to create a monster more powerful than any he's ever seen! For combined, they create the ultimate creature of destruction! The Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!' He thought to himself, as he made a plan! 
Then suddenly, in the blinding white glow appeared a dragon whose eyes were dark, smoldering blue, with three shadowed heads and light blue scales, towering at Kaiba's back as he laughed. 
Will Kaiba be able to defeat Yami with his Blue Eyes White Dragons, or will Yami find a way to defeat either of Kaiba's Blue Eyes once and for all?
