A Beautiful Maiden - BTS early 1900s AU - fanfic

Chapter 1 - Part 1

Namjoon strolled down the street, hands shoved in his pockets. His head was down as he watched his feet dragging lazily across the mud-filled land. The ground was only muddy because it has been raining quite a lot in Seoul.

Taehyung, Namjoon's house-mate, was currently at home since it was his day off. In turn, Namjoon also had a free day since he only obtained wage by helping Taehyung with injured animals and farm animals.

Taehyung and Namjoon lived about a 10-minute-walk from the farm Tae was born on.

People rushed past Namjoon as they seemed to be rushing to a theatre. Namjoon became curious and decided to see what all the fuss was about, so he followed.

When Namjoon walked into the theatre, he saw a stage at the front and seats on the higher areas. He noticed that the theatre was quite small in size, but most theatres were back then.

Suddenly, there was a loud drumroll as someone announced that the play was going to start and to quickly make sure they could see it. Namjoon stood at the back where no one could really see him, but he wasn't the least bit bothered. He never understood what the big fuss was about with plays.

 - a little while later -

Namjoon watched the play with no interest at all and decided to just leave since he found no interest in the play. That was until a young man walked onto the stage. The young man's most noticeable feature was his wide and broad shoulders. He had dark hair, dark eyes and an average skin tone for a Korean male. He was a little taller than some of the Korean actors, but never the less, he was handsome. The young man's acting was impeccable to top it off, along with the fact that he was exceedingly attractive.

Namjoon simply couldn't tare his eyes away from the young man's performance. He was drawn in by his performance and overall demeanour. Namjoon guessed he was around the same age or just a little older than he was and that he had been acting for a long time.

The young man quickly glanced around the audience and captured the eyes of many of the audience but caught the eyes of Namjoon, making quick eye contact without meaning.

Flustered, Namjoon's gaze quickly dove down as he looked at the ground... before slowly looking up and watching more. He knew it was unprofessional of the actor to make eye contact with his audience or even look out at them... but he didn't say anything. He just wanted to watch more.

A/N: Hi. I know this is like... my millionth story on Wattpad and I know that FBTCOG just came out (one of the first people to see it in England XD watched it the day it came out) but I really wanted to do this fanfic. I'm constantly doing BTS RPs with one of my friends (if she's reading this, she knows who she is because I sent her the link XD). I will try to continue my FB OC fanfic as soon as I can but no promises. Also, with this fanfic, I won't be able to post as often. I'll do another chapter tomorrow, as I'm writing this, but I'm really busy as of late... constantly have homework and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday are basically the only days I can chill for either a full day or a full afternoon after school. I've already explained in my FB OC fanfic about my posting problem (but that was like... 2 months ago... it's got worse... now I have more homework and actually have revision now, so yeah... fun...) so read that if you want... a bit outdated. But I will try to post an update on every chapter I release in this book or my FB OC fanfic and I'll just tell you to skip to the update I explain everything if you don't actually want to read them (but please read my FB OC fanfic. Quite a bit of people have already said that they liked it so I think you guys will as well if you haven't already). Thank you. Bye.
