Jared's P.O.V.

     So I totally didn't tell Zoe I was coming but that's not important I'll just knock.

     After knocking twice Zoe answered the door. Convenient.

     "I was just about to text you. Why didn't you tell me you were coming over?" She asked.

     "I forgot. What were you gonna text me about?" I ask stepping into the Murphy household. It smells like pancakes. It always smells like pancakes here for no reason. Maybe the author is just hungry and wants pancakes.

     "So," Zoe started dragging me up the stairs. Its drama time. Shit. "I found something out."

     "Oh?"

     "I don't think I like Evan like that. Actually I don't think I like anybody like that or ever will."

     "What?" That does not make sense. "Elaborate."

     "Well I was online." That's not a good start. "And I saw these posts about people not liking people."

     "No one likes people."

     "No like, like liking people. I think I might be aro."

     I gasped. "Character breakthrough."

     "What?" She asked out of pure confusion.

     "Nothing. I'm proud of you. And this makes what I was about to say a lot easier."

     "Go ahead." She encouraged.

     "So me and Evan are kinda a thing now."

     "Aww cute."

     "I know right. Anyway wanna hear the story?" I asked. We honestly act like two 16 year old girls gossiping in like every hallmark movie ever.

     "Do I ever." She said pulling a fruit roll up out of her dresser and tossing me one. It's normal don't question it.

     "Ok so, we were arguing over so called 'little things' I still dont know what they were but he was supposed to look for them, a message from my mom to him. And all of a sudden he just asks me if I like him and I'm like 'what?' And I'm like freaking out right? So I go 'I mean yeah' then he says he likes me back i get way to excited and kiss him."

     "Really?" Zoe asked mouth full of fruit roll up.

     "Yeah. And then I'm like wait what are we because you know we never established that and he's all 'I mean boyfriends I would hope.' And I'm like shit and kiss him again, but I asked that time."

     "That's so stupid."

     "I know. But he didn't say anything about it and then we watched some movies and talked went to bed woke up and he left."

     She waited a moment wondering if I was still telling my story and after a solid second she started. "Well that is a lot. And now my news doesn't feel as important."

     "No you're news was just as important I just talk a lot."

     "Thank you. Does Evan know you told me? I mean he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would just be so out there about a relationship especially with another guy. No offense."

     "None taken. I was actually surprised when he told me I could tell people I expected him to be much more hesitant."

     "You guys are honestly adorable and I haven't even seen you together yet."

     "Thank you. Wanna order a pizza and watch Christmas movies?"

     "Jared its October 3rd."

     "And?"

     "Whatever. You're paying."

     "Yeah, yeah. What toppings?"

     "Pineapple."

     "Zoe you disgust me."

     "You disgust me order the pizza."

     "Half cheese."

     "You do you."
