As I sit on a bench, enjoying being outside without someone breathing down my neck. I look up at the tree above me. The light shone through the branches. The light breeze pushing through the air.

So many thoughts were swarming in my head. I look back down at my phone and wondered if I should call him or not. I started at my phone for what felt like eternity. I pick it up and for some reason it felt like a brick, weighing my hand down.

I type in the familiar number that I've called a hundred times before. As I press the call button, I take a deep breath and mentally prepare.

It rings once........ twice....... three times....... then four, just as I thought it was going to go to voicemail he picked up.

"Hello," his gravely voice coming the phone. I froze when it reached my ear. I just sat there and started off in front of me. "Hello," his voice coming out more commanding " who the hell is thi......"

Yep. You guessed it, I freaked out and hung up. So much for Ms. badass, yeah, yeah. I look up again and stare at the tree branches looming above me. I sit there and just watch the people around me going on with there lives for about another hour. Then my stomach growled.

I look down at my phone that was laying on the bench where I layed it after I ended my call. When the screen lit up it showed 12:45. I just looked at it for a second before grabbing it, then got up and went to my bike. I threw my leg over the seat and pulled the helmet off the handle bars. I pull my hair to my left shoulder and put the helmet on.

I kick it alive and take off as fast as a bullet. Soon arriving at a cute cafe that I always came to before I uh... left. It was a small cafe that was run by a very sweet married couple. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson or to me their, Robert and Victoria. After arguing over and over with them I finally gave in and started calling them by name.

That saying " bad things always happen to the best of people" is extremely true in this situation. Victoria and Robert have tried for years to have children but the doctors say they just can't, but they still stay strong together.

As I step in the cafe the bell sounded drawing a few eyes, but I ignored them. I look around the cafe and feel at home immediately. I walk up to the bar and hit the bell. Before anyone could come I picked up the menu in front of me and hide my face. I hear footsteps coming towards me, then an oh-so familiar voice asked me sweetly.

"Are you ready to order sweetheart?" Victoria asked. I lower the menu and take a peek at her she looks the same. Her long brown hair up in a messy bun, her blue eyes bright but somewhat tiered.

"I thought I told you not to work yourself to death? I'm pretty sure that was what I said before I had to leave at least.?" I say as I lower the menu letting her see my face. I had my famous smirk on and asked " well you never listened to me anyway, did you?"

Her face was shocked then she started to tear up as she smiled. I stand and hurriedly pull her into a hug. She hugged me back tightly, I could tell she was crying, as I rubbed her back in a comforting way. She starts to calm down and pulls away, but keeps me at arms distance. She started looking me over like she used to do, when she was looking for any injuries.

" Oh my.... you have grown into a beautiful young woman." She started to tear up again. "Let me get Robert he's going to be so excited!" She rushes into the back to go get her husband from the kitchen.
