I fell asleep on the uncomfortable hospital chair and so did Reese and Ryan. When i woke up i thought of the perfect idea.
*phone call*
Jack: hey um can you come pick up my friends siblings? Ill explain later,its a long story.
???: jack its six in the morning!!!
Jack: yes i know but i feel that you are the best guardian for them right now. Please Savvy??!
Savannah: ugh fine!
Jack: thank you so much! I owe you one.
*end of call*
*five minutes later*
Savannah came in...

"Hey! This is Ryan and Reese" i said pointing to them.

"Thanks so much! Ill see you later."
Then they walked out.
"Excuse me sir. Sorry about what happened. He wasnt supposed to wake up with the breathing tube still in (idfk okay dont judge XD) but he asked for you so you can go right in!"
"Thanks"
I walked in and he was just looking at the ceiling.
Then he looked over to me and made a warm smile.
"Hey bud." I said
"Hi! I-I missed you so much..." He said "I missed you too...like a lot ha! I was so worried about yo-" "Stop. Im okay jack. Stop worrying..." He said reassuring me that hes fine. "I know im sorry...but im glad your still here." "Me too"
"Oh yeah reese and ryan went with Miss. Reed, the librarian at school. I hope thats okay, she was the only best 'sub parent' i could call." "Thats fine."
There was only silence in the room. But a comfortable silence.
Then zach started to cry.
"Whoa whoa whoa zach! Whats wrong!" "Im so scared jack..." "Of what?" "Them..." As soon as he said that i knew what he meant. "Hey! Zach listen to me okay they are NOT going to get you again. I promise! I will not let them hurt you again." He nodded. I wiped his tears and hugged his fragile little body.
