Nightmares and Night sky

I am running up the stairs trying to reach to roof so that someone would  notice my presence. As I am about to open the door  ,  suddenly someone grabs my feet and yank me backwards.

I  try to scream but my voice is muffled buy a Rag which had a vaguely familiar smell .

I wake up to see lizzie jumping up and down like a chimpanzee "Get up you lazy ass " she squeals .

I groan " not everyone is a morning person like you lizzie. "

"Well this morning person needs to go shopping"

"Don't you have enough clothes"

"Then let's go to the beach"

"But I have nothing to wear"

" Then shopping it is. "

"How many more do I have to try before we can go and grab something to eat" I let out  a exhilarated sigh .

"Not many just a few."

After two more hours of 'shopping' ,  I finally settle on a  pink crossbody swimsuit with  a wrap around .
And lizzie being lizzie she was buys  a emerald green strapless bikini .

Then we head to a diner nearby . It is a old fashioned place called 'The night sky' what a unique name , I think.  It has  carved wooden chairs  and numerous  of pictures hanging . We choose  a table in the corner , facing the door. 

I check my phone to see if there were any  messages from my mum and dad. Obviously not.  Shocker

"Lizzy have you talked to mum and dad recently? " I ask  .

" Yup I talk to them last night .why do you ask? "

Before I could answer we were interrupted by a waitress I immediately recognise her. She was the blonde from last night. The one that was talking to a Adam .

They both are  staring at me like I am some kind of an animal at a zoo.
I didn't realise that I had been saying my thoughts out loud .

"Do you know Adam " the blondie said.

"uhh. .. No I don't .I just heard you talking to him last night "

She shifted uncomfortable e in her  shoes.  "Well everyone heard it." lizzie buttes  in ,  I kick  her under the table .

"Hi my name is Alicia" the blon- alicia says .

"I am clary and this is my sister liza"

"Well nice to meet you . We can catch up sometime,  maybe later.  I'll send someone to take your orders "

As usual lizzie ordered cranberry juice and a burger while i ordered chocolate milkshake with pizza .

As we were waiting,  I saw the door in front of me rattling and Adam
entered.  He was wearing a blue faded jeans and a white tshirt  Classic combo which was clinging his body like it was made only for him .

He  was walking right towards us. But he was abruptly stopped by Alicia . She kissed him and he reluctantly kissed back.
She whispered something in his ear,  then they both started walking towards us.

"Adam,I would like you to meet clary and her sister liza ." She introduced.

"Hi" he says , while shaking both our hands but his eyes never leave mine. oh those blue eyes.
" Are you two new here "

' No ' lizzie says , "we're here for a vacation."

"Well why don't you guys join us tonight at my  party. I promise  you it'll be your best vacation ever!! " says Adam. 

"Well the thing is that --

"Of course we will come . Who can say no to that. Right clary? "

" Yeah, sure. Why not?" I glare at lizzie from the corner of my eye  .

"Great. I'll send you the address clary" Alicia chirps in . After exchanging the numbers , Adam heads out while Alicia goes back to do her job .

As we are heading towards our car.   I see Adam standing besides it .

"Waiting for alicia?" I ask .

"Something like that ."  he says with a smirk.

I get into the car, turn on the ignition and I hear him say " wear something formal .............  or not. "

I drive away with a knowing smile little did I knew that it wasn't going to last for long .
