For as long as Awsten could remember, the vampires had controlled the city, killing humans and turning them as they pleased, the biggest vampire gang being called the Dandies. Lead by a mad man who gave little regard for any life, even his own.
It was sickening hearing stories about people being dragged from their homes at night and killed, turned or worse. It was horrible that Awsten feared for his life every time he went down to the corner store or went off to work or every time his friends said they'd gone out.
Awsten was tired of it, so he decided to do something about it.
