A bright light shone through my window as I dragged myself out of bed and downstairs to the kitchen. My best friend Sinéad walked in from the front room.
“Hey Carrie.” She smiled as she grabbed her cup from the cupboard and made herself a coffee.
“Hey Sinéad.” I said as I poured myself a glass of orange juice, “What we doing today then?”
“I don’t know. Whatever floats your boat?” She laughed as we walked into the living room and sat watching the TV. One Thing by One Direction came on.
“Why is Niall so perfect?” Sinéad asked as we danced along to it as Daisy walked in with wet hair.
“Carrie why do you have such good sleepovers?” She asked ringing her hair out on my carpet.
“Excuse me?” I said raising one eyebrow at her.
“Oh God! Sorry!” She said as she put her hand up to her mouth and started silently laughing.
“Where are Alexis and Jade?” Sinéad asked looking up from the TV.
“I think they are still asleep.” Daisy said grabbing the remote and turning another channel on and surprise, One Direction were on again, so we sung along this time hoping the other two would wake up.
“Come on lets go get these two up then.” Sinéad said grabbing her guitar that she took everywhere with her and went into the room they were in. I went and stood by Alexis’ bed and Daisy stood by Jade’s and then Sinéad started to play ‘It’s time to get up in the morning.’
“It’s time to get up in the morning…” Me and Daisy looked at each other trying to think of what to say instead of ‘Got a McDonald’s breakfast for you.’
“We don’t have any breakfast for you; you can walk 6 steps to get it, so you better get up or we’ll eat it.” We sang.
“You lazy bunch of selfish carrots!” I shouted as we started jumping on the beds.
“So you gotta get up! You gotta get up!” Me, Sinéad and Daisy shouted.
“Okay, okay we’re up.” Alexis said climbing out of bed and walking towards the bathroom. Jade woke up and got out of bed slower than a turtle. I went and had a shower then put on my red jeans and my white t-shirt, with black stripes.
“Come on, let’s go into town.” I said as I grabbed my bag and we all sat on the bus.
“So then where are we going first?” Alexis said edging towards Jack Wills
“Oh go on then.” I laughed.
“Yay!” She said as she ran inside and picked up another Jack Wills hoodie and another gillet and everything else she could carry.
