~*Chapter 25*~ Partying and Worrying [Edited]

~Narrator's POV~

"We need to buy her gifts." Levy demands in the circle.

"Yeah. Of course we have to." Lisanna said.

"Alright, come on guys let's go to the mall!" Levy shouts.

"YEAH!" Everyone yells. They went out the door. Levy told one of the guys in the dojo to text her if Lucy will come back. Then, Levy followed them out the door.

They walk towards the Magnolia Mall. They went inside and went to the beautiful fountain in the middle.

"Okay everyone. We will meet here when everyone is done with buying their gifts for Lucy." Erza said.

"Okay!" Everyone said and went their separate ways.

Levy went to the bookstore and bought a book. Wendy went to the accessories shop and bought pink and blue ribbons and bows for Lucy's hair. Elfman, Mira and Lisanna bought a pink flower gem phone chain. Erza bought a bracelet that says, "You rock!" in a accessory store. Juvia bought a lava lantern in a decoration store. Gajeel bought a music disc that she might like in the music store. Jellal bought her a flower gardening kit. Jet and Droy bought a card saying "Welcome back!". Meanwhile, with Gray and Natsu, they are figuring out what to get. Then, Gray has an idea. He went to a store and bought pink flowers. Also, Natsu has an idea and went into a store. After 30 minutes, they all met up in the fountain.

"Okay is everyone here?" Levy asks.

"Except for Erza." Jellal said.

"Sorry I'm late!" Erza said. They look at her. She has a mysterious box that she's holding.

"What's in the box Erza?" Gray asks. Then, Natsu, Gray, and Jellal looks on top of the box. They face palmed. It's a sticker of the mall's bakery.

"Erza, you do realize that there is cake at the dojo right?" Natsu said.

"So, what you're saying is that I am not allowed to buy a cake at all?" She said in an angry voice, with her angry face.

"EEK!" Natsu hid behind Wendy.

"Okay people. Let's go back to the dojo and party!" Levy exclaimed. They all went out the mall door.

Meanwhile, with Lucy, she went back to Natsu's house and went to go to get changed. She knocks on the door and Mrs. Grandine showed up.

"Hello Lucy, where is Natsu and Wendy?" she asks.

"Oh they went to the dojo. It seems that they are planning a party for me." Lucy said and she walks in the house. Mrs. Grandine smiles as she shuts the door. Lucy goes in the living room and looks for any clothes that might be good in the party. She found a perfect outfit. It is denim shorts and a pink tang top with jewels around the neck part of the tang top.

"Ah, perfect." Lucy said and fixed her hair into a braid. She put on her brown boots.

"I will be going now Mrs. Grandine." Lucy said.

"Okay Lucy. Have fun!" Mrs. Grandine said. Lucy leaves her purse in the living room and goes out the door and closes it.

Meanwhile in the dojo
Everyone is getting ready

"Ugh... Is Lucy here yet?" Natsu pouts impatiently.

"Don't worry Flame brain. She's coming." Gray said at ease, helping out Juvia setting up the drinks.

"Just go do your own work, Popsicle!" Natsu yells. Looking at Natsu very annoyed, Gray puts down the drinks and starts stomping towards him.

"Do you want to go Hot head??" Then, Gray bumps his head on Natsu's.

"Hell yeah!"

"ENOUGH!" Erza hits both of them in the head. "Now, go back to work!" She said. The two of them were unconscious on the ground while Erza and Mira are putting the gifts on the table in the back of the dojo. 

After everything is done (7:30 PM), Gray and Natsu had to put the last thing. They put the disco ball on the chandelier.

"Alright! We are finally done with the decorations. Now, let the party begin!" Master yelled.

"ALRIGHT!" Everyone yelled. Someone turned off the lights and started the music. The disco is shining to the lights. Everyone is dancing and laughing and talking and eating. Natsu and Gray were starting to worry. Lucy hasn't came back to the dojo, and it started raining outside. Natsu and Gray got out of the dance floor. Some girls came up to them. "Natsu? Would you like to dance with me?" One of them asked him.

"Um.. Sorry, but I'm are waiting for someone..." Natsu said.

"Oh.. Okay..." Said one of the girls who sounded sad. They went to the dance floor and began to dance.

"Where is Lucy?" Natsu thought. "I am going outside Gray, so don't come with me." Nastu said.

"Nu uh. I'm going with you." Gray said.

"No, Gray. I need to handle this. And besides, Juvia has been staring at you for awhile."

Gray turns around and he sees Juvia staring at him with hearts.

"Gray-sama!" She yelled as she waved her hands in the air. Gray blushes lightly.

"Fine... You better make sure she is alright." He said in a serious tone.

"Don't worry. Besides, I'm way stronger than you."

"Why you-"

Natsu went outside and running in the pouring rain.

"LUCY!" Natsu yells. "WHERE ARE YOU?!?"

Natsu keeps on running through the streets. He keeps on yelling out her name. But, he sees something under the light post. He gasps. It's Lucy. 

He ran towards her. She's badly injured. Scars, cuts, and bruises were on her face, arms, and legs. Her clothes are ripped and blood is on it. Natsu shivers as he brought Lucy up while she was still sitting down .

"Lu-Lucy?" he stutters, looking at her in panic. Natsu sees Lucy trying to open her eyes. "Na...tsu?" she says, quietly.

"Wh-what happened to you??" He yells in anger.

"Ban..dits....2 people...came...and.." She moans in pain.

"Lucy! Just hang on okay??" Natsu said, gripping onto her. He takes out his phone and began to dial 9-1-1.

Natsu can feel her shivering. Natsu immediately took off his scarf and wrapped it around Lucy's neck.

"T-This can't be happening!" He thought to himself.

"Please! Don't die Luce!" He yells in worry which made him shiver. "It's all my fault for not protecting you." He whimpers.

Lucy tries to lift up her hand and touched Natsu's cheek. 

"It's... Not... Your.. Fault..." Lucy said breathing heavily.

 Natsu holds on to her. He can feel her arm shivering. Lucy's eyes closed and her hand fell to the ground. 

"L-Lucy!" He started shaking her. "Come on Lucy! Stay with me!"

He looks for a pulse on neck and tries to find the vein. When he found the vein, he can feel it pulsing which made him relieved.

The ambulance finally arrives, the nurses lifts her up on the gurneys. Natsu went inside the car with her. When the ambulance moved, Natsu held Lucy's hands tightly. 

"Lucy...."
