The Moonlight Jam: Part 2

*After School* 

Jenna P.O.V

I was at home with Ainsley, and Jordan. R5 was practicing for tonight and we're trying to work on  setting up the video on the projector. 

"So, is this going to work?" I asked. "Most likely. When we interact the computer with the projector it will create a big screen behind the concert designs and-" "Okay, you don't need to explain this to me. You and Ainsley work on this more and I'll go check up on Melody." I said as I interrupted Jordan. 

He and Ainsley nodded and continued to work on it. I left my house and walked towards Melody's. 

Melody P.O.V 

I finally had my sing ready. I think this song will prove to my dad about how much music means to me. 

"Melody get down here!" My dad yelled. I rolled my eyes and placed my song into my folder. I went down stairs and saw Jenna in the living room with my father. "Hey Jenna what are you doing here?" I asked. "I am allowing Jenna to stay here for an hour only. Then she must leave." My dad said. "But why an hour?" I aksed. "Have you forgotten that you are still on punishment?" He said. I rolled my eyes and walked towards Jenna. 

"Dad, we'll be in the backyard." I said. He nodded and sat down on the couch. I grabbed Jenna's wrist and pulled her into my backyard. 

"How are you going to sneak me out of here? My dad is like watching me like a hawk today." I said. "Don't worry. We have a plan. But you need to sneak out on your own." Jenna said. "But how?" I asked. "Climb from your balcony. The Moonlight Jam starts in an hour." She replied. "Are you suggesting that I sneak out?" I asked. "Melody, it's the only way. Unless you want to ask your dad to bring you." She replied. "Okay. But What about Principal Goodwin? If he see's me there then-"

"I already told you. The football feild is town grounds and Katie's mom is a lwayer and she has the permit of the football field. So, basically your not breaking any rules except for the one where your sneaking out." Jenna said. "Fine. I just hope this works." I responded. "Trust me it will. Now I gotta go and get ready. See you later. And good luck." I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks for everything." I said. "Your welcome." 

We broke from the hug and she left my house. I headed back inside and was about to head upstairs until I saw my dad on the kitchen counter holding a picture and crying. I walked towards him and saw the picture he was holding and caressing was my mom. 

"I miss her too Dad." I said. "Your mother was the best thing that came into my life. And then you came into my life. You are the greatest thing that ever happened to your mother and I. We love you with all our heart." My dad said. "Then Dad if you love me you would let me perform at the Jam." I said. "Melody, I already made up my mind and I said no!" He yelled. "Dad, have you ever even tried to listen or read any of my music. If anything mom would be proud of me!" I shouted. 

"Well, your mother isn't here is she!" My father yelled. I couldn't believe he said that to me. "Melody, go to your room. Now!" He yelled. I couldn't argue back after what he just told me. I ran out of the kitchen and headed upstairs. I stormed into my room and slammed my door. 

I opened my closet and looked for something to wear. I finally found an outfit and pulled it out. I put it on and did my make up as well as my hair. I grabbed my song lyrics sheet and folded it into my purse. I wrote a note to my dad and left it on the dresser of my bedroom. I looked on my phone and saw it was 7:10 p.m.

I ran to my balcony and climbed down the tree. I finally landed on the ground and made the way to my school. 

Tonight I will prove my Dad wrong.

Aisnley P.O.V

Jenna left 10 minutes ago with Rydel and the rest. But Jordan and I on the other hand, were still trying to sync the video onto the projector. As we were working I heard a knock at my door. I got up and answered it. I couldn't believe she was here. 

"What the hell are you doing here? I thought everything was settled." I said worriedly. "Don't worry Ainsley. I'm not here to hurt you. I just need your help." Kali said. "Help? Why would I help you?" I asked. "I don't have that much time to explain. We need to head to the police station and give this to them." She held up a tape recorder in her hands. "Why do you have that?" I asked. "It's evidence. Now let's go!" She said. 

I know it was crazy of me to do but I actually trusted her. I brought her inside and Jordan looked shocked. "Don't worry Jordan. She's not here to hurt us. I wish I could explain but the Jam already started. I need you to take the projector and bring it to the school. Kali and I are going to the police station." I said. He looked at me with worried in his eyes but nodded anyways. 

Jordan left and so did Kali and I. "Why couldn't didn't you come earlier?" I asked her as we were walking. "Because Jocelyn's dad work's the day shift, but doesn't work the night shift." She replied. "Oh clever." I said. "We gotta ther quicker than this." She said. "Run?" I suggested. She nodded and we both ran to the police station. 

Look's like Jocelyn is getting her payback.
