~3rd person~
The following day, Jungkook went out with the search party to look for Jimin. The guards began by door-knocking, asking if they'd seen or heard anything suspicious. Each family came out with a different story, the only similarity being the witch near the edge of the forest. Jungkook made an educated guess, and his mind was set.
Jungkook split from the group, saying he felt sick and wanted to go back to the castle. Instead, he marched straight to the witch's house ahead of the rest.
The pain Jungkook felt over the loss of his Jiminie-hyung was enough to let him forget that he was about to confront a witch, he knew he'd do anything to get Jimin back.
~flashback~
The boys were peaceful in Jimin's room, tucked away from the rest of the world. They were content in each other's company, the tea warming their hands, protecting them from winter's chill. Sitting on the floor with only a teapot between them, Jimin and Jungkook chattered away, they could exist in this moment forever.
"What's your deepest fear, Kookie?" Jimin queried.
"Uhmm," Jungkook pondered, "probably the sea. Yours?"
Jimin responded warmly. "Losing you of course."
Jungkook blushed furiously, "o-oh," he began a staring contest with the ground and twiddled his thumbs. He never expected that.
This made Jimin giggle, he gently put his tea cup down onto the plush rug. He shuffled around the tea pot to where Jungkook sat. Jimin took Jungkook's face in his hands, Jungkook looked up into Jimin's eyes as they touched foreheads softly.
"Jeon Jungkook, I think I love you."
Jimin pulled Jungkook into a passionate kiss before he had a chance to respond.
That was the first time Jungkook had ever had those words genuinely directed towards him.
~Yoongi's 'house'~
"So, you never did tell me where you were from, or why you're so far away from home." Yoongi prompted, shifting closer to Jimin.
"That's kind of a long story, I don't know if you really want me to get into it." Replied Jimin.
Yoongi tilted his head to the side like a puppy, "we have all afternoon."
Jimin groaned and began to explain the madness that had happened to him in the past few days. When he finished, Yoongi was lost for words, he didn't know how to help Jimin.
"I really appreciate you letting me stay Yoongi," Jimin began, "like I said, I just need a while to clear my head. Talking to you really helps though."
Yoongi flashed Jimin a smile, "no problem, it's nice to know where you're from and stuff. I was a little worried for a bit, considering you seemed reluctant to tell me about yourself. I honestly thought I might've accidentally invited a killer into my home."
That made Jimin laugh, "I'm not so bad then?"
Yoongi simply giggled and shook his head.
After talking for a bit, the boys heard another voice at the door.
"Yoongi? I'm home!" He yelled.
"Oh, that'll be my flat-mate home from work." Yoongi explained, "his name is Hoseok."
Hoseok swam into the living room and gave Jimin a little smile, "who might this be?"
Jimin hurriedly got up from where he was seated to shake his hand, "I'm Jimin," he smiled shyly.
"Are we picking up strays again Yoongi-hyung?" Hoseok glanced past Jimin.
"He's not a stray, Hobi." Came the harsh reply from Yoongi, followed by a glare.
The three boys all laughed together and sat down. They talked until it got dark, then Hoseok said to the boys that he was going to bed. Yoongi showed Jimin to his room and told him if he needed anything, he was just down the hall, first door on the left. Jimin thanked him and he left.
Jimin lay in his bed for hours before he could sleep, he thought of how much he missed his Kookie. He wondered if they'd ever be together again, then he remembered Jungkook's fear of the sea, and realized there was a very slim chance of them ever even seeing each other again.
~Jungkook's P.O.V~
I arrived at the witch's house, I approached warily and gulped before knocking on the door. It clicked and an old lady swung it open, I looked down at her and sucked in a breath.
"What do you want?" She grumbled.
"I, um, j-just want to, uh, know i-if you have Prince Jimin." I cursed inwardly, get it together Kookie."
"Not anymore, boy," she began closing the door but Jungkook jammed his foot in the door.
He shoved it open and continued, "what do you mean 'anymore'?"
She sighed and invited Jungkook in, she told him to sit down and motioned to a pillow on the ground. Jungkook sat down and waited patiently for her to stiffly lower herself onto another pillow.
"I got rid of him, he's alive but you will never see him again." The witch was harsh with her choice of words.
"W-what do you mean you got rid of him?" I was getting upset, tears began forming in my eyes, "what has he ever done to you?"
"Well, to put it simply, he lives in the sea now. The reason for this is not your concern."
"The sea?"
"That's what I said."
I gulped, I hate the sea, "what can I do to get him back? What do you want? The royal family can give you anything!"
The witch cackled, "there is one thing you can do to be with him, and since the King and Queen don't know about you two, I'm sure you wouldn't mind."
"H-how did you know?"
"The way you talk about him, the look in your eyes. You're in deep young man, are you sure you want to do it?"
"I'd do anything to be with him!"
"Are you sure?"
I was burning with rage, confusion and passion, the tears were flowing down my face, "yes! I'm sure!"
"You don't even know what I'm going to do yet." The witch teased him.
"Just do it already!"
