My name is Lauren, I just turned 19 years old. I graduated high school a year ago.

I'm not sure what I want to do with my life yet. But anything I want to do I can't.

I miss Cameron like crazy. It makes it worse that I have no idea why he left.

My mom died in child birth with me so I never knew her.

Cameron's mom was like the mom I never had. That helped a lot with my mom not being there.

They sat me down the day before they left and told me that they had to leave.

They said that they were protecting me. But I still don't understand what they were protecting me from.

A lot has happened since they left. That I wish they just took me with them. My life has changed completely since they left.

I always wonder what my life would be if they hadn't left. Would my 'father' not be doing the things he does?

Would I not be working 2-3 jobs everyday? Would I actually have a social life? But I guess I can never know.

I go back to real life and look at the time. The time says 7:50am time to get up and get everything ready for one out of my two jobs today.

I got up and realized I forgot to shower last night so I jumped up and quickly got into the shower.

After washing my body with Bath And Body Work's, Warm Vanilla Sugar.

I got out of the shower and put a black fuzzy towel around me.

I went into my closet looking for clothes to wear.

After deciding I put on black jeans, a tank top, thick gray sweater, fuzzy socks and Uggs.

I had to dress warm considering it is December and I live in Canada.

I walked out of my closet, put deterrent and perfume. Then started making my way downstairs.

When I walked downstairs my father still had the people from his party last night down here.

They were everywhere, sleeping on the ground, couch and the tables.

I quietly tried to step around them, because I knew if I woke anyone up they would tell my dad and that wouldn't be pretty.

I finally got around all the people and got into the kitchen. I went to the fridge and got a couple apples.

If I took anything more then a couple apples my dad would notice..

I put then into my old backpack and make my way around the people again. I got to the front door and slowly opened it and closed it behind me.

As soon as I got outside the cold air made me shiver. It's a cold day today.

I pulled my jacket closer to me and started my long walk to work.

My first job was at the local grocery store. I had to get there at 9 because that's when it opened.

When I got there at 8:45 there were already 20 people in their cars waiting for the doors to open.

This is going to be a long day. I quickly opened the sliding glass door and closed it behind me.

I made my way to my cash and saw that only one person was there. It was Alex.

"Has no one else showed up yet?" I asked Alex

"Nope. If they don't it's going to be a long day.." She said looking at me frustrated.

Wasn't she right. Alex was an amazing worker, she never has once missed work and she is the girl I can always count on coming in.

But that's not the same with everyone. I was the lead in the department and we have been having a lot of problems with the kids still in high school not showing up for work.

Which is really bad for the people who do because it is so busy for us and we have lot more angry costumers.

It's not even just bad because of that, I get into a lot of trouble because when costumers get really angry and leave. It loses the grocery store money.

After setting up and opening the doors for all the people waiting I started my long and busy day at work.

After 5 hours of work it was finally 2:00pm and I could finally leave this busy place.

But I didn't get to go home, like I would want to anyway. I had to go to my last job of the day.

My second job I work at a bar, it makes a lot of money so I can really compilation.

But I do run into a lot of drunk guys trying to hit on me. Which at times can be really funny.

After walking to work I got there and people were already drinking. That's not really a surprise here because a lot of people get sad and drink.

Kind of what my dad does...

Moving on. I changed into my outfit and saw my boss standing there.

"I guess people really want to drink tonight, it's already getting really busy." He said looking at my smiling.

"I noticed, it's going to be a good night." I said nodding at him.

"Yes it is, go get them tiger!" he said smacking my bum then walking off.

Jordan is the kind of boss that loves giving us our pays and loves letting us keep our tips if we do a good job and show up on time. He also is an amazing club boss because he lets us drink here for free.

I walked out to my job and made my way around the drunk guys trying to hit on girls and finally got to the bar.

I got there and started making myself a drink. A guy walked up and I looked up at him.

"What would you like tonight?" I asked him smiling at him.

"Your best drink." He said smiling at me wide. After looking at me up and down.

I turned around and made him my favorite drink. Then gave it to him.

I was okay with his eyes wondering after because he have me an amazing tip.

This is going to be a good night.

After work finished I put my tips into my bag and changed. Then slowly made my way home.

When I got him my father was sitting on the stairs waiting for me.

" The house is a mess clean it. Where are the tips for the day?!" He said looking at my bag.

I looked down into my bag and saw the money and apples.

I don't need him looking in here so I grabbed all the tips expect $50 because I need that for food.

I handed him the money. He looked down at it, then looked back up.

"Good. Now go clean up." He said in a stern tone.

I just worked all day now I have to go clean. Lovely.
