Shadow and Crow stayed around each other. They would bicker and laugh. Crow took care of her wounds until they were fully healed. Shadow learned that he was the med cat when he was a clan cat. He was very good at being a med cat. It reminded her of Lightsky.

Crow curled up next to Shadow and purred as they fell asleep.

Shadow was there again. Back in the forest of darkness. The flames rose again and her shadow self was right next to her once again.

"Hello." She smirked at Shadow. Like always Shadow couldnt speak or move. Shadow came up with a nickname for the strange cat. She called her Shadowself.

"You need to listen to me. Fire is your enemy. Dont be so naive. You cant trust it." Shadowself whispered. Her voice was not evil again. It was like she was trying to help her.

Tears started to run down Shadowself's face. Shadow noticed that they were red. It was blood.

"Please, be careful." Shadowself whispered darkly. The flames came closer. So close that they started to burn Shadow. Shadowself was gone.

Then the flames turned to ice. Shadow looked around, her eyes filled with fear as she stared at the spikes of ice surronding her. Then she was awake.

Shadow woke up feeling very hot as if her skin was on fire. It was still night. Crow was still in a deep sleep next to her. Shadow lied her head on his side, smelling his sweet scent.

Shadow woke up. She was face to face with Crow. "Good Morning!" He chuckled. Shadow smiled and nudged him with her paw and sat up. She was not letting her

dream or Shadowself bother her. She needed to be happy.

"Come on. Lets go to the river!" He nudged her to make her stand.

"But I cant! Im dieing!" She laughed. She fell over on top of Crow's back. He fell down at the sudden weight on his back even though Shadow was not heavy.

They both laughed and Crow rolled over making Shadow get off him. Shadow stood over Crow and looked down at him. He still lied on his back and looked up at her. He smiled and appreciated how beautiful she was.

She stared back at him for a few moments before smirking. "Stop playing around! We are supposed to be at the river!" She said teasingly.

He laughed and shoke his head before standing up. Shadow ran off towards the river that was not too far away. Crow ran after her, struggling to keep up with her. She was very fast.

Shadow ran to the river. When she was finally there she lapped up the water and waited for Crow. When Crow was finally there Shadow didnt notice. Crow smirked and ran as fast as he could. He slammed into Shadow causing her to fall into the river.

Shadow yowled as she fell into the river. The water was deep and cold. She didnt know how to swim. She desperately tried to kick her legs to swim back to the surface. It was not working. She tried again. She kicked and kicked but it seemed like it was just making her drown more.

She got some of her head above the water. She yowled "Crow!" Shadow was under the water again and unable to breath. She kicked her legs but again, it didnt work. She thought of Robin. 'Is this what it felt like for him? Completely helpless..' Shadow thought. She finally stopped struggling. She slowly started to drown. She closed her eyes and relaxed as tears came from her eyes as she thought of her tabby brother.
