Jesse "Wraith" Blackwolf has always stood out in everything that he does. Throughout high school he achieved exceptional grades, and he was the star running-back in his schools football team. Jesse was always in the spotlight, but he always managed to stay humble, never letting his social status go to his head. Upon graduating, he received a scholarship to California State University, where he majored in Biochemistry. After Jesse finished his time at California State, he enlisted in the Army with his brother Vincent. The two of them proved to be exceptional soldiers, and their charisma and natural leadership abilities helped the brothers rise through the ranks very quickly. After serving only one tour in Iraq, Jesse and his brother were put in charge of training new platoons of soldiers for combat. It was during one such training session that they were approached by Delta Force Commander Jonathan Waters, who had been watching them train the new recruits. Commander Waters was impressed by their natural ability to inspire greatness in their students, with seemingly no effort. Waters asked them to run the obstacle course they had designed for the new recruits, and they happily obliged, each beating the previous course record by more than a minute. The Commander was in awe of their performance, and asked them to join Delta Force. Jesse and Vincent agreed on the condition that they would never be separated from each other. Within 6 months of joining Delta Force, Jesse was designated as the leader of the newly formed "Ghosts" unit, a group of highly skilled stealth specialists tasked with assassinating high profile targets, infiltrating and destabilizing enemy compounds, and other such missions. It was during one such operation that Jesse earned his callsign, when Specialist Erik Thorn informed Jesse that enemy infantry spoke of him and his brother as if they were some supernatural force, something other than human. Jesse quickly took to this idea, and adopted the name the locals had given him, "khial" meaning "Wraith". With Jesse at the lead, the Ghosts were the weapon that tipped the tide of the war, with a total of over 1000 confirmed kills reported by the unit. After the war, both Jesse and Vincent returned home to Los Angeles as decorated heroes, each receiving Medals of Honor and Purple Hearts, among other things.
Specialist Jesse "Wraith" Blackwolf's file reads like an adventure novel. From his combat records, it is clear that he is an irreplaceable asset to any team. His unit handled the assignments nobody else could, and in this environment, Specialist Blackwolf thrived, driven by the knowledge that others were depending on him to do what they could not. Most soldiers would have shattered under the pressure that Specialist Blackwolf places on himself. Yet he pushes on, seemingly unfazed by the weight of the world resting on his shoulders. It speaks volumes towards Specialist Blackwolf's mental and physical fortitude and endurance. I would like to request that the Blackwolfs design a more modern version of their training course, and use it to instruct the rest of team Rainbow in operational stealth techniques. I believe that if anyone will be able to accomplish this task, it will be Specialists Jesse and Vincent Blackwolf. I will state for the record however, that I am concerned with the history between Specialist Blackwolf and Specialist Melnikova, as I am aware that they had some involvement with each other years ago. From what I can gather, it ended quite poorly between them, and they are not currently on speaking terms. My hope is that I may find some way of forcing the two to move beyond their bad history, and be able to work together as teammates. Whether they allow for that, only time will tell.
