Chapter fifteen

Alex's pov;

I woke up in a strange place. I'm in different clothing and I look around and see sky next to me sleeping peacefully. I get up and look out the window. We must've been at her house. I had a killer headache, looking at the sunshine actually hurt my eyes. I walked around sky's room examining it. Never really imagined how her room might've looked like. It's interesting.

I see a photo of her with her family at an amusement park laughing. Her mother, her father, her and her brother all laughing, must be nice. I hear her shuffling around in her sleep. "Morning." I heard her say and I turn around "morning." I said. "I see you feel fine now." She said "what do you mean?" I asked "you puked all over yourself last night." She mumbled turning on her side and closing her eyes again. "Maybe it was something I ate?" I said "or the fact that you broke your sobriety." She said "what?" I said "you got shit-faced yesterday and I bought you back here and took care of you." She said "oh.." I said "come here." She said with her arm open but her eyes still closed. I walked towards her and she pulled me down on the bed "why'd you break your sobriety?" She asked. "I don't know." I said "you do know. Other wise it wouldn't happen." She said and I sighed.

"I don't know. I was just- I was just sad. You guys were drinking and having fun. While I was the buzzkill. I felt like I was holding you back from having fun. So I drank till I was almost shit-faced like you guys." I said realizing how stupid that sounds. "You know that whenever you and I are together I always have fun." She said as I laid my head on her chest and my arm wrapped around her body. "I love that about you. You always make me happy and when I'm with you it's always fun." She said and I looked up at her. "I love you." She said and I sat up "woah..." I said "what?" "You just said you love me." "So? You said it to me last night." She said as I was remembering. "I did. I love you too." I said and kissed her.

She kissed me back and I lifted up her shirt and kissed her jawline leaving sloppy kisses on her neck while sucking trying to find her sweet spot. I finally found it and she moaned. I kissed down her chest to her stomach. I pulled down her shorts and underwear and kissed her skin one more time. "Wait. Wait. Wait." She said bringing me back up "what?" I said "I can't." She said "what do you mean you can't?" I said "I can't have sex with you. Not right now." She said "what are you talking about?" I said "you told me something last night. It was personal." She said "what do you mean?" "You told me that you were sexually assaulted and it was recorded." She said "oh." I said getting off of her. "I told you about it huh?" I said sitting next to her with my back against the wall. "Why didn't you tell me about it before?" "It was private. I didn't want anyone to know. But then last night happened. I wanted a fresh new start. I wanted to forget about everything that happened in New York." I said

"But we're in a relationship. You're supposed to tell me these things." She said "I wasn't very comfortable with all of this. Please understand how hard it is for me to talk about all of this." I said on the verge of crying. "I understand. I'm sorry." She said grabbing my hand and I gave her a smile. There was knocking on the door "Skylar, honey. Are you up?" I heard a female voice. "I'm coming in." We heard and we looked at each other. "Under the bed!" She whispered and I rolled off the bed and went under it.

"How's everything?" I heard "good." Sky replied "Jonathan told me you came in late last night." "Yeah. I did. It was New Years. I spent it with friends." "Did you drink?" "No." "Are you lying?" "I'm not." "Okay. We're all downstairs." "Alright." Sky said and I heard the door close. I got out from under and I gave her a confused look. "I thought your parents know about me? Why do have to hide?"  "Yeah um, I never came out to my parents and they don't know we're dating and they think you're a boy. Surprise!" She said "what!" I said "I asked you if you could meet my parents so you could be the way I come out. Ha ha." She said "Are you kidding me?!" I said "I'm sorry!" She said "so what am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to leave?!" I said "relax." She said and pulled me into the bed.
