Chapter two:unexpected living arrangmets

Paige's pov

Ugh, today is only Tuesday. I can't believe that I have to go to school with that kid again. He will probably want me to show him around again. Man, why won't he leave me alone and hang out with someone else. I went downstairs to eat breakfast, but I could not find my mom or dad anywhere. "MOM, DAD!!!" No one answered. Oh no, did they leave me!!! I then noticed a piece of paper on the table. On it read:

Dear Paige,
Your father and I are taking a business trip. We will be gone for one month. Please stay with a friend or a friend stay with you. Love you, and be safe while we are gone.

Love,
Mom and dad

Wow, so my parents are gone for a whole month. They want me to stay at a friends house. Sarah parents won't let me stay there. They said I can't stay longer than two nights. Where am I going to stay? I started to feel gloomy, today was going to be rough.

Jungkook's pov

I can't wait to get to school. I ran down the stairs and bumped into Kim seokjin. "Sorry, Jin, just excited about school." I told him in a rush. "Uh, are you sure it does not have to do anything with that girl?" He looked at me questioningly. "No!! I just want to get to school. Umm, bye." I quickly ran off, man that was embarrassing. He may be the oldest but he does not have to act like it sometimes.

As I walked in to the school yard, I saw Paige. She looked really upset for some reason. I did not know why but I really wanted to talk to her, so I ended up walking to her. "Hey, Paige. What's wrong?" She looked up at me and looked like she was going to hit me or something. "Nothing, now leave me alone." She told me, there is diffidently something wrong.

" hey, just tell me. I want to help. Please.." I gave her my best smile that I could do... then she looked up at me. "Look, jungkook. If I tell you then you will leave me alone about it, right?" I nodded, listening. " my parents are out of town for a month. So I have to find a place to stay. And so far bad luck.." hmm I wonder if she would stay with me. I know she does not like me, but I don't know what this feeling is. But I feel upset when she is and felt the need to help.

"Hey!! You could stay with me?" I waited for her to speak. I know she might say no, but then what other choice does she have. She finally turned to me. "Fine, I will on one condition." I waited and nodded. "Ok, you don't bother me when I want to be alone. I like some privacy every now and then." "Of course, you can sleep in the guess room. But you know there is six other guys there?" She looked shocked, then looked like she was thinking. "Fine, that's ok. Come to my house after school with me and help me with my stuff. Then we will go to your home." Then she left without me even answering her. As I watched her leave only one thought remained in my head.

What am I going to do, to get her to open up to me?

Paige's pov

After I had walked off from jungkook. I felt nervous. Six guys counting jungkook, oh no what have I gotten my self into.

As the day ticked by, it was finally time to go. Ugh, that means to jungkook house. Here we go. I saw him waiting for me, at the gate. "Hey, I am ready to go get my stuff." "Ok, let's go then." As we were walking I felt his eyes at me every now and then. I decided to ignore it. When we finally arrived at my home, I unlocked the door and walked in. Then I realized jungkook had not followed me in yet. "Hey you can come in." I said to him, he looked at me like as if he is saying are you sure? " alright." He finally answered after about three minutes.

"Stay here while I go get my stuff." I went up to my room, not waiting for him to answer. I still don't like it, but my parents will kill me if I stayed at home alone. When I was done packing I walked down the stairs to jungkook. "Hey I am ready." "Alright let's go." Hm, he seems nervous. I wonder why?

After a good thirty minutes of waking to his home. We finally arrived. "Wow, this is where you live?" I looked up at him astonished by the house. It was HUGE!!! "Yep, come on let's go inside." He lead me inside the house. There I was greeted by six guys. Everyone: Hello, welcome back jungkook— they stopped mid sentence when they say me. "Hello, my name is Paige. Nice to meet you." They all looked to one another, then Finally one guy said. "Hello Paige, my name is Kim namjoon. And welcome to our home." He seemed friendly enough.

Jungkook's pov

"Hey Paige. Your room is the fifth door in the left. I am going to fix you a snack." She nodded then headed up stairs. When she was fully gone I went up to the guys. "Alright, Paige's parent's are out of town, and she had no where else to stay. So I told her she could stay here. Do you guys mind?" They all stared at me like I was lying, they all eventually agreed it was ok. With that out of the way, I made a snack for Paige. I walked up to her room, and tried to scare her.

"BOO!!" I yelled and jump behind her. She jumped and screamed. AHH. JUNGKOOK WHY DID YOU SCARE ME!?!?!" Man, is she mad. But she is cute when she is mad. "Sorry, I was just having some fun. Well here is your snack. Dinner will be ready at 6:00pm, and we will watch a movie at 7:30pm." I told her, she looked at me confused. "Why, are you so organized?" Hm... I thought about it for an minute. " well, Jin is the oldest here and he makes the rules. So he put times when we should eat and go to sleep. Stuff like that." I explained to her, and made sure that she did not have any more questions to ask. Before I left her room.

6:00pm

It was time for dinner. We had kimchi. I looked over at Paige to make sure her food was good. "Hey Paige is it good?" I asked her, hoping she won't yell at me. "Yes, it's delicious. Thank you so much once again for letting me stay here. And thanks for the good meal." I was shocked I never heard her be this polite, ever. "Um, y-your welcome." I stuttered a little, still shocked she was being nice. I guess cause everyone is around us. When they leave I bet she will be back to her old self. Then it was time for the movie. We all sat down on the sofa, and I told Paige she could sit by me. And SHE DID!! I think she is sick. She should not be this nice to me. After the movie she went up stairs and got ready for bed. Then suga pulled me over to talk to me.

"Do you like her?" I was a little shocked at first but quickly recovered. "I don't know how I feel, to be honest." I told him my honest opinion, but he looked at me like I was lying. Which I am not... " alright I am going to bed, goodnight everyone." They all said their good nights and I left. As I was walking past Paige's room, I saw her past out laying on top of the covers. She will get cold if she sleeps like that. I went over to her carful not to wake her. I gently picked her up and put her under the covers. A stray piece of hair had fallen out of place. I carefully put it back being her ear. She looked so peaceful when she sleeps, why can't she be this way all the time.

Before I got up to leave I turned around and rubbed her hair back and said, "goodnight, Paige." Slowly walked out of her room, making sure not to wake her. All that night I kept on twisting and turning cause I could not sleep. I went to her room, and I really don't know why. She made me feel calm. I sat by her bed, and before I new it I had drifted off to sleep.....

Paige's pov

I had waken up and when I was about to get out of my bed, I saw jungkook sleeping by my bed...

"AHHH, JUNGKOOK WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!?!?!"
