You made your way back to the hotel. Stuck in your own thoughts. What will happen now? What about those peoples family? I did something really stupid, now I am paying. I don't want to deal with anything or anyone anymore. You were snapped out of your thoughts by police racing down the street. You whipped your head around to see where they were going. They were going to the house. The Countesses house. You got a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. You were about 100 yards from the hotel. With every step you took the feeling got worse. 50 yards away it started to get painful. Like knives stabbing your stomach, lungs. Breaking your ribs and putting them back together again. 10 yards away. You vision was starting to get fuzzy. Black around the edges. You wanted the pain to stop. For it to just disappear. You managed to get through the doors and up to one to one of the staircase. "Sally." You whispered before everything went black again.

You were back in the same place as before. The little glimpse of hell you got. Your body couldn't take much more. You wanted whatever was doing this to you to just kill you and get it over with. You couldn't breath. You couldn't see. But again you could hear. Hear every single individual sound, all at once. Then everything went silent. You felt the pressure diminish from your eyes. You attempted opening them. You could see. At first it was blinding. Then you got used to it and someone was standing in the corner of wherever you were. You fell to the floor. "Ugh!" You yelled in pain. "Shh, child keep it down. No need to wake everyone up." The man said. He was tall and black. He had what looked like paint on half of his face. White paint. And his hair was so different. And he talked with an New Orleans accent. "Papa Legba." He said holding out his hand. You didn't take it. "(Y/N)." You said trying to move away. You got up standing felt weird here. Like if you took one wrong step you would surely fall out of existence. "You are special girl." He said. A bottle of rum appearing out of nowhere. He poured himself a glass then you. You gladly grabbed it hoping to get the slight ache in your everywhere to go away. "What did you mean when you said I was special?" You asked him. Leaning against what you thought was a wall. "I meant what I said. Your special. I've only ever met one other in my life. A person who has both Voodoo power and witch bitch power." He said like it was completely normal. Like he's said it before. "Witches aren't real and your crazy." You said taking another sip of rum. You never cared for rum, but you finished off the glass anyway. "You know that isn't true. Close your eyes and think about the glass in your hands. Picture it being thrown at me, but don't move your arm." You did exactly as he said. Not wanting to know the consequences. You felt a weight lifted from your hand and you heard Papa catch something. You opened your eyes. He was holding the glass. "This isn't possible." You said. "You walked over here or something." He threw the glass back. "Now do it with your eyes open. Focus on the glass and picture it in full detail flying at me. Being thrown at me." You did as he said once again. He never moved once. He stayed where he was standing. You could see him the whole time. The only time he moved was the catch the glass that went flying out of your hand. You couldn't believe what just happened. Witches were real and you were one of them. You didn't want to believe it. It makes so much sense though. Why your mother wanted to protect you.
Why weird things always ended up
happening to you. "You are very special. Believe me now?" He asked pulling a chair out of nowhere. "You have the medium power, but you also share a mixed power of voodoo and witch. You need to be trained or you will fail whatever you are attempting to do with March." He said. "There will be a very powerful witch coming to the hotel very soon. You will know her when you see her. She is called the supreme. She holds the most power in the witches. There is a voodoo queen, but she doesn't matter anymore." He said pouring himself another glass. "You need to get back up." He said.

All of a sudden you were back in your own body. You were still at the bottom of the stairs. Liz, Iris, and Sally stood above you. "Sweetheart are you okay?" Liz asked. "Yeah i'm fine. I just don't feel great. I could use a drink." You said standing up. "Whoa slow down." Iris said. "I'm fine i'm not made of glass I can handle myself." You pulled yourself from everyone's grasp. Never once looking at Sally. You couldn't look at her, because you knew what you would see. You would see disappointment, concern, and love. And you couldn't handle that right now.

You didn't deserve to be loved. You didn't deserve anything. You were gifted with powers and you couldn't even use them for good. You were using them for evil. For your own gain. In your mind you were reasoning with yourself. I'm doing this to save everyone in this horrid place. I am doing this to ruin March. I am doing this to ruin myself. The last one scared you the most. You were ruining yourself. Destroying yourself inside out. You made your way up to the bar and everyone took their normal positions. Iris at the front desk. Liz at the bar, and Sally in the booth. The front doors opened just as Liz was pouring your tequila shots. A woman walked in. She had long blond hair and was literally glowing a little. She had power written all over her. You ignored her. She didn't even think twice about anyone in the building and immediately went to find her girl. Queenie was her name. She looked at you right before going into the elevator. You continued to drink your shots.

You didn't know how much time has passed, but after many attempts at trying to get Queenie out of the Cortez she finally gave up and came up to the bar. "What can I get you?" Liz asked her. "Anything." She said. "Your the supreme." I said. "Your the woman I am supposed to look for." She looked shocked. "Who are you and how do you know who I am?" She asked grabbing the glass Liz had set down in front of her. "I am (Y/N) and Papa Legba told me to find you. That you could help me." You took a sip of your drink. "Papa Legba?" She said taking a sip of her own drink. "Why do you need help?" She asked. "I have unique abilities and I can't control them or at least I don't think I can." You said turning to look at her. "Show me." She said. You grabbed an empty glass off the counter and stood on the other side of the bar. The supreme got up and walked to the opposite end. "Do it." She said. You looked at the glass. You pictured what you wanted it to do. You wanted it to fly into the supremes hand. You wanted it to break in her clutch. You felt the weight leave your hand and you heard it shatter in the supremes hand, but she didn't feel any pain you did. You wanted her to know that you were part voodoo as well. "Holy shit." She whispered. "Your real. I mean I heard things like this could happen, but I never believed them. Do you know your father?" She asked. You shook your head no. "What about your mother?" she asked. "Yes I do know her. Her name is Billie Dean Howard." She scand you with her eyes. "So you're also a medium?" She asked. "You ask a lot of questions for someone who doesn't like giving their name." You said. "Cordelia Foxx Goode." She held out her hand. You took it. "Can you help me control these?" You asked her. Motioning your hands around yourself.  "Yes I can, but not here. I can't spend another minute in here." You were confused.

"I can't leave Sally here though. I won't leave her alone. Not in this place. Not again." You said walking towards Sally who was still in the booth kind of dumb found. She had tears streaming down her face. "Baby. I am right here it's still me." You said. "Get away from me you freak!" She screamed pushing you away. "You didn't know what was happening. She was a spirit for god's sake. She was calling you a freak. You didn't know why this was happening. The second you touched her you saw something. It was weird.
You and Sally were in her room, just talking. She was saying how much she hated people with those powers. She despised them. She hated how they had all this power but couldn't help anyone who really needed it. You just watched her. You weren't really listening to what she was saying you were looking at her lips. You were thinking about kissing them.

You snapped out of it. Falling into Cordelia. You moved so you were holding onto her arm for dear life. "Sally." You whined "Please don't do this." You begged her. "Leave me alone. I don't want to see you anymore!" she yelled. Cordelia grabbed your arm and dragged you out of the building and into the car that was waiting for her outside on the street. "It is going to be okay." Cordelia said stroking your hair. "It is all going to be okay." The driver started driving to wherever you were headed. You didn't care that you had left everything at the hotel. You didn't want to go back. You wanted to get as far away as possible. You never wanted to see Sally again. You just looked at the scenery passing as you drove. Cordelia pulled you into her and hugged you. "I am sorry." was the last thing you heard before falling asleep in her arms.
