My Thanksgiving

I know thanksgiving already passed but since I had already made this poem years ago I wanted to share it. So here's my poem from 6th grade. Enjoy and Happy Late Thanksgiving.🦃😍😋

Today is thanksgiving day

My cousins went out to play

They played hide and go seek

And I stayed in to eat

When the food was done, we prayed

After that, we craved

We had ham, turkey and more

Then more people came through the door

We watched the football game

My team won, I sang

After two or three plates, I was stuffed

And that's not a bluff

Desert time, I didn't know

No one told me, they're slow

Pumpkin cake, Pumpkin pie

Pumpkin Pie I didn't try

Then finally everyone left

And I got to rest

I think we all can say

This was the best Thanksgiving Day
