Nicole was so glad that Tasha and Isabella were excited about her relationship with Riley, she really was, but she did want to scream at the both of them.
Sometimes.
They would talk about the relationship like it was set in stone, like she and Riley would be together forever, but they didn't know that, and Nicole was terrified of what would happen next.
One of the reasons why Riley had asked Nicole out on a date was because there was something he needed to tell her and this made her nervous. Nicole liked Riley and she wanted this new relationship to go somewhere, but she was scared that Riley was going to break up with her.
Nicole was brought back to the present when she heard a knock at the door. She opened it to find that Tasha was the one who wanted to visit. Nicole wasn't expecting her, but she let her friend inside anyway.
"Hey, Tasha," Nicole greeted her friend.
"Hey," replied Tasha, "I just got a call from Amy."
Amy was Tasha's twenty two year old sister who had just gotten married at the end of last year. At the moment, she was on her honeymoon with her new husband, Mr Ian Wilson. Amy and Tasha were best friends as well as siblings, and they were lost without each other. That was why they called each other every night while Amy was away and Tasha loved finding out everything that she had been doing.
But Nicole wasn't sure why she needed to know this.
"Okay," she said.
"She told me something about Riley," Tasha continued.
"How does Amy know about my relationship with Riley?"
"I told her. But, anyway, you are going on a date with him tomorrow, aren't you?"
"Yes."
"And he has something to tell you?"
"Yes."
"Well, I am not sure if you are going to like it, and I am not sure if I should tell you to save you the worry."
Now Nicole was worried, "tell me what?"
"Well, don't worry, he doesn't want to break up with you," replied Tasha.
"Tasha, you have to tell me. What does Riley have to tell me?"
"It's about his reputation."
"Reputation? What does that mean?"
That was stupid. A reputation could have meant anything and Nicole didn't even know where to start. And besides, what could have been so bad about a reputation? Reputations were supposed to be good things, weren't they? That was what Nicole always thought. Now she didn't know what to think.

Nicole still didn't know what she was going to do an hour before Riley was due to pick her up the next day. Nicole was really worried and she wondered whether this reputation, as Tasha said, would affect her relationship with Riley. Nicole really didn't want that because she really did like Riley and she could see a future between the both of them.
Even though she was worried about breaking up in the meantime.
Maybe Riley's reputation was that he was eternally faithful. That would have been a good reputation to have, but why was Tasha so worried about it.
Maybe that meant it wasn't a good reputation.
Then Nicole thought about the second date that she went on with Riley. They went to the shopping centre to spend some time with each other and they saw a movie before dinner. As she remembered it, Nicole couldn't help noticing that many people were giving her and Riley nasty looks. These were people that Nicole barely knew and she didn't think anything of it at the time, but maybe something was wrong, or the girls were trying to tell Nicole something.
