Judge me all you want but here's a Halloween chapter... sorta. It's still summer. Shout out to meowisnow for giving me the permission to use this shit, now! To the chapter! And 63K?!?! What the fuck guys?!?!
"So?" Percy asked, spreading his arms and waggling his eyebrows. "What do you think?"
Annabeth pursed her lips. "I hate you." She said curtly, scowling as her boyfriend laughed. "Come on Percy, you know I hate spiders."
"Yeah, but Spiderman's not an actual spider, Wise Girl."
"Still, not cool Seaweed brain," Annabeth sighed, annoyed with her boyfriend.
"I think it's funny," Percy replied, sending Annabeth his signature lopsided grin. Annabeth let her posture relax, it was hard to stay mad at Percy, he had this weird irresistible charm.
"Fine," She sighed, defeated, she really did love him. "But, it comes off once the camp party is over."
"Deal," Percy replied smirking, he leaned forward and pecked Annabeth on the cheek. "You're the best Wise girl."
"Yeah, yeah," Annabeth replied, brushing off the compliment, smiling brightly. She grabbed his hand and started pulling him to the amphitheater. "Let's go have fun." And they did, they partied all night... well until 10 pm because Chiron decided that was late enough.
So Annabeth and Percy returned to Percy's cabin and snuggled all night. It was nice. The next day they made their way to Olympus, to watch another memory. Which wasn't as nice. "You ready Percy?" Iris asked, smiling softly.
Percy sighed, flopping into the chair. "I guess..." He responded, exasperated. Iris smiled and projected the image into the screen.
"Mama! Mama! Guess what?!" An eight-year-old Percy cheered, entering the apartment.
"What?!" She asked, smiling fondly at the little Percy.
"I think I have a crush!" He cheered, grinning widely up at Sally.
"Do you? Tell me about it!" Sally responded, leading the small boy to the couch.
"His name is Peter Parker. He's adorable. He's got really pretty brown eyes and the softest brown hair. He's so kind too! He's never been mean to anyone in the whole school! Even the kids who make fun of him." Percy rambled, his eyes lighting up. "He's just so pretty! Inside and out!"
Sally chuckled a little at her son's enthusiasm. "He sounds lovely." Percy just beamed up at his mom.
"Wait, so Percy's Bi?" Leo asked, confuzzled.
"Yeah," Annabeth replied, turning back to the screen.
Sally's phone rang, she quickly answered it. "Isn't there someone else who can take the shift? Fine, I'll be there in 10 minutes."
"You have to go to work?" Percy asked.
"Yeah, sorry sweety. Jim couldn't come in." Sally explained.
"That's ok! We can get ice cream when you get back!" Percy assured, grinning.
"Sounds great, see you in a couple of hours!" Sally waved, leaving the apartment.
"Bye Mama!!" Young Percy called. The door closed and Percy started going through his bag, pulling out the homework the teacher had assigned.
He worked on it for a good half hour before the bedroom door slammed closed and Smelly Gabe walked in. "So you're a fag now?" Gabe asked as he grabbed a beer from the fridge. Percy knew exactly what that word meant and just nodded. "You respond when I ask you a question!" Gabe yelled chucking the can at Percy, narrowly missing his face.
"Y-yes sir," Percy replied quietly, looking down in shame.
"You're disgusting!" Gabe spat at the small child. Percy just nodded, breaking everyone's hearts. "I hope you burn in hell." Percy just nodded once again. "You speak when I talk to you!" Gabe slapped Percy.
"Y-yes sir," Percy mumbled, staring at his feet. Gabe punched him in the face, causing the tiny Percy to fall to the ground. Gabe spat at the boy before retreating to his room.
The scene changed, showing a 9-year-old curled up on the floor. Gabe kicked his side, "Fag!" He seethed, kicking the boy again.
"I'm sorry!" Percy whimpered. Curling into himself more, shaking. "Please, I won't do it again." Gabe ignored the child and continued to kick his ribs. A defining crack was heard and all of the people in the room flinched.
"You should burn in hell," Gabe seethed, sending one last kick to the boy's head, knocking Percy out.
And the screen faded away, leaving the occupants of the room in shock. "So that's why..." Hazel started, trailing off at the end.
Percy gave an ashamed nod, refusing to look up at his friends. This particular string of memories hit hard for him, having to deal with the internalized homophobia and self worth issues that stemmed from them for years. "Percy, you know you're allowed to like whoever you want, right?" Jason stated softly.
"I- uh, yeah." Percy stammered, finally looking up. "It took a while, but yes." He gave them a smile, trying to reassure them. Annabeth wrapped him in a hug which Percy melted into right away.
They stayed like that for a bit, just hugging and whispering sweet nothings. The others watched fondly... and awkwardly, they felt like they were intruding on a moment they shouldn't have. Once they separated Nico spoke up, "How come, you were accepting of me and Will even though..." he trailed off at the end, unable to finish his question.
"It wasn't that I thought it was wrong. It's that I thought I wasn't allowed to like men. It was just a lot of internalized homophobia, nothing outward." Percy tried to explain.
"Uh, well, I think that's all for today." Zues spoke up, "we will have another meeting in a weeks time. We shall see you then demigods." And with that final note he sent them home.
The demigods decided to have another sleepover, and with that, absolutely no sleep.

I'm so sorry guys for not updating. I just haven't had the motivation or the idea to write, especially in this story. I think I'm going to try to get one more chapter out to finish it, maybe a small epilogue too. Idk. I hope everyone is well and I'm sorry.
