Freya Morgan was a "normal" girl. She went through school, college, and she held a great boring job at an office. She was a little different sure but she was not prepared when they told her exactly what she was.

Freya Morgan was a nephilim; half human half angel. Her mother died when she was born and according to Castiel her father was just a normal angel trying to stay out of the angels crossfire. Her adoptive family had no idea of course. She chose to keep any non-human things she felt about herself to herself, even as a young child. Over the span of 28 years she has managed to stay undetected, unnoticed.

But now the angels are after her. Some wanting to kill her, because in gods eyes she's an abomination, and the others wanting to conceal her, feeling like she could be used for their own personal gain. What kind of sick god we have.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a normal day when she met Castiel and the Winchesters. Freya had just arrived home from work. When she went inside something felt off. There was an uneasy energy in the house that she just couldn't shake. She went through the house unable to see anything out of the ordinary. It wasn't until she came across a letter she had stored in a box under her bed. The one her mother wrote to her before she died. The letter expressed how sorry her mother had been for not being able to see her grow up and be there for her. She could never understand how her mother understood she was going to die. After she met Castiel it all made sense to her.

She picked up the letter and looked around. She sat on the bed to once over the letter she read all too often. It wasn't until then a hand came from behind and covered her mouth. Whoever it was pressed a blade to her throat. She was terrified. It wasn't until then that she heard crashes downstairs. Followed by yelling.

"Find her!" she heard a male voice say. "I'll go upstairs, Cas search the main level, Dean, basement"

She heard footsteps growing closer until a very tall man with lengthy brown hair came charging into the room.

"Let her go!" the man growled

"She is an abomination" the man behind her said still holding the blade to her neck. "Her life needs to be ended."

At that news she started to cry she didn't want to die. She was only 28 years old. She thought her life had been pretty good so far.

"Step any closer and Ill slice her neck." The man behind her said.

"Sorry brother, I cant let you do that" Castiel said coming at the angel from behind.

Of course she didn't know who Castiel was but she was grateful he had caused enough of a distraction for the angel to let go. As soon as the angel released her she ran over to the tall man with the long hair. She didn't know why but she trusted him. He wrapped her under his arm and the ran downstairs together.

"Dean stay with her, Im going to help Cas." The tall man yelled from the top of the stairs.

"Sam, you stay with her, she trusts you." Dean shouted as he was ascending the stairs "Plus no one threatens Cas and gets out alive." He flushed a little after hearing how sappy his statement had been.

Freya must have slipped a face or was very easy to read because she was really hoping Sam wasn't going to go anywhere.

As Dean ran upstairs to aid Castiel, Sam placed his hands on Freyas shoulders.

"Are you alright?" He asked

"I th-think so." Freya answered tears still rolling down her cheeks.
