Ava dropped the cards no less than three times while trying to simultaneously shuffle them and admire Ailienas. The dusty rose scrollwork of her tattoos arched elegantly across her form, perfectly symmetrical except where they split off to cover just the right half of her face.
When she finally managed to get the cards shuffled, she found counting them out to be difficult as well. She tried to give herself two cards, Nowhere six, Ailienas eight...eventually she managed to get them organized out to five each.
She flipped her cards over and looked at them. 4C 5S 7D 3C 2C...yeah, these cards are shit. When I'm done with the others I'm going to mulligan the whole thing.
Feloriel switched out three cards, her expression unreadable. Nowhere swapped three as well, looking nervous, but reassured by the new draws. Allanya switched three cards, grinning widely. Ailienas swapped four, reacting with a grimace that turned quickly to a smirk. Aelis switched four as well, nodding at the new ones. Finally, Ava discarded her whole hand. AD 4S 3C 9C QS...it's a better high card, at least.
"Ready?" All six women flipped over their cards.

Aelis sighed heavily. "I'm really not having good luck here." She unbuckled her belt casually, seeming to be a bit more at ease. Ava gathered the cards and passed them to Feloriel.
