Calamity affects all our daily lives because when it strikes no one can stop it. During typhoons or after typhoons all we need is to have "bayanihan" with our neighbors. I think natural calamity strikes because our Mother Earth is teaching us lessons to take care our nature. If we continue polluting our nature or destroying it, maybe worst than Yolanda may happen.
