The explosion rattled the ground, the bright orangish yellow fire blinded me as my ear ranged loudly. My vision blurred as I glanced around, unable to make out anything beside the large roaring fire. I can hear the screams of people around me as I tried to stand up but I only stumbled around.
Slowly my vision came back and I was able to make out Henry laying a couple feet away from me, slowly getting up with a hand on his face. Jason was already on his knee, staring at once was his house. My parents were the furthest away from me. My mother laid lifeless on the ground as my father shook her, crying out her name.
I whimpered out in pain as my fingers lightly glazed over a deep cut on my forehead. Blood was pouring down my head. "No!" An angry yet sad cry is the first sounds to be heard that isn't the roaring fire or the sound of debris falling to the ground. My head slowly turns in the direction and my father is standing up.
"Why! Why did you do this!?" He snapped, in a instinct I automatically tense up and tightly close my eyes. Soon after I open them quickly, still staring at my father. He was giving his ravth to someone else and I was glad because of it.
He swayed violently as he stumbled over to Henry, who was now holding himself up against a tree. Jason wasn't paying no mind to any of this, he was still staring at his house. As for I, I was pulling myself into a shaky stance.
"It didn't have to go this way!" Henry yelled over the roaring fire as he swayed away from the tree. "Everything that happen, everything the was done was because of your daughter!" Henry snapped, accusing me as he pointed his finger at me. My fathers head snapped in my direction as his hateful glare dug into me.
"She should have done her job but she failed all of this is her fault!" Henry smirked as he turned his gaze over to Jason. Wow, he purposely just sent my father at me so he could finish Jason off once and for all. I wont allow that to happen.
Ignoring that heated glare from my father, I stumble forward away from him to noticed that a shiny object laid between Henry and I, he too also noticed it. It was Jason's machete, how it got so far away from him, I didn't know. It was clear on Henry's face that he wanted that machete.
I caught Henry's eyes and in the spilt second we both began to stumble our way to it. My father absolutely didn't like that I was running away from him. "Get back here you fucking disease!" He yelled out loudly, getting everyone's attention even Jason's.
Literally taking a leap a faith, I dove forward and grab the handle of the machete just as Henry lands on the ground across from me. Quickly turning over so he couldn't get the chance to grab it from me, I stand up and whip around.
Jason was now standing staring at both Henry and I, watching us to see what will happen now. My father was almost to me and I didn't know what to think or do at a time like this. My mind started to think, cause my body to automatically start moving.
Grabbing the handle in both hands I raise it above my hand and face Jason. "Jason! Kill him!" I yell out as I chuck the machete as hard as I can. My breathing gets stuck in my throat as I watch the machete spin in the air. Being as graceful as he is, Jason simple moves to the side and one handling catches the machete by the handle.
Without a second thought, Jason charges at Henry. Caught in the moment, I forgot about my father until he slams me to the ground. "Ahh!" I cried out in pain as my face slams against the ground. "You'll pay for killing your mother!" He snapped in my ear in a cold tone.
"After I am done with you, you'll wish you had killed yourself when you had that chance those many years ago." He shouted as he roughly pushed my face harder into the dirt. A whimper escaped my mouth at not only the pain he was causing me but the mere thought of that cold depressing night.
The thought soon left as quickly as it came when a sharp pinch burned into my skin. I felt the burning sensation as it spread through out my neck and down into my chest. "What the hell did you do?!" I snapped hysterically as I watch him drop a syringe to the ground by my face.
"Relax my dear Katherine, daddy is going to take care of you now." He cooed softly into my ear. "No, leave me alone! What the hell was that?" I yelled as he let me crawl away. Everything seemed to go in slow motion, no matter how hard I tried to move fast, I felt like something was restraining me back.
"You've been a bad girl Katherine, you must pay for you mistakes." He taunted me as I continued to crawl on the ground. "J-Jason!" I mumbled out as my legs became dead weight.
Herny had managed to stay away from Jason, but his strength was slowly fading as he fumbled around with something on the ground. Jason stopped in mid step as he looked between Henry and I. He couldn't choose who he wanted more. To help me or kill Henry.
