You woke up what you thought was hours later to someone calling your name. "(Y/N). Come on it's time to get up and out." The voice said. "No. I want to stay warm." You said hitting some water at them. "Lets go. Now I have to change because of you. It was Cordelia's voice. "Good." You said opening your eyes and stretching. "Come on slowpoke." She said as you stood up and grabbed the towel next to you. "I'm coming. Calm down." You said as you stepped onto the tile floor. Cordelia handed you a pair of fuzzy pj pants and a long sleeve black top. "Thanks." You said putting your underwear on then the pants and the shirt. You looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked better than you did the last time this happened. Well not this exactly, but looking in the mirror. You didn't do that very often. You hated the way you looked. You still had big bags under your eyes and your face was dry. "Do you have any face cream?" You asked. "Yeah." She handed you a container labeled face cream. You applied some to your face and neck. "You don't need that. Your perfect the way you are." Cordelia said putting her chin in between your neck and shoulder. "Yes I do. My face is a desert." You said patting Cordelia's cheek. "Okay, but you don't." You didn't like that Cordelia said stuff like that either. You liked when people gave it to you straight. You didn't want it sugar coated. You wanted the truth. Cordelia didn't give you that all the time. Sally did though. Why does everything come back to sally? You thought as you walked into the bedroom and laid down on your bed. Pulling the covers almost over your face.  You wanted to hide that fact that you were about to start crying from Cordelia, but she was to good. "If you still want her then we don't have to do this." She said sitting on the edge of your bed. "She doesn't want me. So I have to get over it." You said looking at Delia. "It's not worth the pain. It's just not worth it. I love her, but she doesn't love me. So I need to get over it as I am saying once again." You shifted so Cordelia could lay down next to you. She did and you laid your head on her chest. "I don't want to love her anymore. I want to love you." You said a tear falling once again. I need to get tougher. You thought. I need to be better for Sally. I will get her out one day. I will. You listened to Cordelia's heart beat. It was slow and loud. "You just need some sleep and to think." She said kissing the top of your head. You just laid there. Your thoughts running wild. Your eyes closed.

How will I get her out. What will I need. Who do I need. Do I need someone to take her place or does someone else have to die for her to be free? It just doesn't make sense. Why did I have to fall in love with a dead person? Why am I so stupid?!

You couldn't sleep no matter how hard you tried. It had been a few hours since you and Cordelia got into bed. Your head was still on her chest and her arms were wrapped around you. You slowly undid her arms trying not to wake her. After her arms were undone you slowly lifted your head and made sure she hasn't woken up. She didn't. You very carefully got out of the bed and walked to the door. Opening it slowly and quietly you walked out shutting it the exact same way you opened it. Once in the hall you made your way downstairs to the kitchen. Where Myrtle was. "Good evening dear." She said. "Tea?" She looked at you. "Um..sure. Why not." You said sitting down at the table. "What's bothering you?" She asked. "Did Cordelia tell you about my um abilities?" You asked her stirring your tea. "She did. Is that what is bothering you? Your powers?" She asked. "No. That isn't it. There is someone who is very dear to my heart trapped inside the place that I was living before here. The Hotel Cortez and I want her back. I just don't know how I am going to do it." You said taking a sip of your tea. It was scolding. You burned your tongue. "Oh dear Delia has tried everything to get someone out of there. She even tried to take their place. Nothing works inside that monstrosity." She poured some milk into her tea. "That place is like a gateway to the other world. A lift  through the vale. A split in between them. Nothing dead ever leaves that place. Nothing." She was all red at this point. She looked as if she was made at the hotel itself. "The hotel wasn't always like that. Before James Patrick March started killing it was a place where people had fun and didn't worry about life were they could let their worries go." You said. "March made it this way. He caused that hotel to become the hell it is today." You took another sip of tea. Looking out the window above the sink. "Who is the person you hold dear?" She asked. "Sally McKenna." You said not giving her eye contact. "She has been dead for almost 30 years." She said. "How are planning on getter her out. Risking your life isn't an option. Cordelia won't let you do that. She cares about you to much. But the question is do you care about her?" She asked and said. "I do I just don't know if I can care about her as much as I care about Sally." You admitted. "I think I could love her one day. I just don't think I could fall in love with her. Do you know what I mean?" You asked her. "Yes I do. I was there at one point a long long time ago. Two men fighting over me. And I was in love with one more than the other and I chose neither. I chose to live up to my fullest potential." She said. "I would advise you to do the same, but not everyone can be like me." She finished off her tea and put the cup in the sink. "I would also like to advise that you get some sleep. You look dreadful with those eye bags dear." She said walking into the hallway. You could hear her walking up the stairs. Then you heard a door shut ever so quietly.

You stood finishing off your own tea and washing the cups. You didn't know why but washing dishes calmed your mind and helped you think. So did smoking, but you didn't have any at the time. So dishes were the next best thing. There were a lot in here because when the girls came home everyone ate. Except you because you were sleeping. You washed the plates first and set the on the rack. Then you worked on the cups and silverware. By the time you were done cleaning it was 4:30 am. You walked back up the stairs and walked into the room. You grabbed a book off of the night stand and went onto the little porch off the front of the house. Sitting in a chair you opened it and starting skimming. Not really reading it you just looked at the words not really digesting them like you usually do. You just sat there and looked at them. All these letters and numbers all just jumbling together. You were thrown out of your thoughts by the screen door slamming. Telling you someone had just walked onto the porch. "Morning (Y/N)." You heard Zoe say as she sat down on the chair next to you. "Morning Zoe. How are you?" You asked shutting your book and setting it on the table in between the two of you. "I am okay. How are you doing Cordelia and Myrtle explained everything to me. I am really sorry about Sally." You looked at her. "So that is where Myrtle went after our talk this morning." You said. "Yeah. I am going to be fine eventually. I just don't want to talk about it and i just want to learn how to control my magic." You said leaning back in the chair and looking at the view. "I understand. I do really. I actually killed my first boyfriend. By accident. I have a rare gift and I can't really have sex with anyone living." You continued to look at the view. "That sucks, but you didn't witness your mother get killed right in front of you by a dead serial killer." you said. Zoe pulled out a package of cigarettes. She offered you one. You gladly took it. You put it in your mouth and Zoe held the lighter up to it. You took a well deserved drag and pulled it out of your mouth, blowing the smoke into the air. "You really needed that." She said. "Yeah it's been a while." You said sitting back up and putting your elbows in your knees. Taking another drag. You both sat in comfortable silence for around five minutes. Then she asked you a question. "So? How do you feel?" Not even Cordelia asked you that. "I don't know. Being honest I just want to relax and control this because it is starting to become a nuisance, and I just want to see Sally again." You said looking at her your elbows still on your knees. "I would tell Cordelia. You shouldn't lead her on. Her last relationship ended with her husband trying to kill everyone in the coven. So she isn't really good with that stuff." Zoe said lighting her own cigarette and taking a drag. "Oh." was all you said. How do you even respond to that? You asked yourself. Cordelia was an amazing person, and you really did love that. She was kind to everyone. Even people that weren't kind to her. You loved that about her, but every time you tried to think about Cordelia your brain always brought you back to Sally. Like your brain was connected to her somehow. Like you had one soul together.
You looked at Zoe again. On a second or 45 glance she was actually very pretty. "Cordelia was in love only twice in her entire life. You already know about her husband and everyone knew about her little romance with one of the girls. Her name was Misty Day. She was beautiful and she was broken. You got stuck in the underworld and is still there. Cordelia loved her very much. Maybe even more than any of her girls or her husband. She can't lose anyone else. She won't be able to handle it." Zoe took another drag of her cigarette. You and Zoe heard something break inside the bedroom. You bothe dashed into it. "I-I'm sorry i don't know what i'm doing. I heard her name and i just froze." Zoe grabbed her and held her. "I know i'm sorry." Zoe said bringing her to the bed and sitting her down. "I just need water." Cordelia said. You didn't want to intrude so you went back onto the porch, but someone new was standing there. She turned around to face you. "Hi i'm Mallory."
