I open my eyes fully to see my mother staring at me with annoyance in her crystal eyes. Currently I'm seated at a 5 star restaurant with my whole family celebrating my bratty cousins 16th birthday and unfortunately I was forced to come as it would be 'rude' for me not to attend as she is 'family'. I roll my eyes at the thought and lean my head against my palm about to doze off until I feel a sharp poke against my arm which made me hiss loudly.
"What the hell is your problem" I say turning my head towards my mother, irritant lacing in my voice.
"Remember who you're talking to" She spat back at me.
I scoff and grab my phone from my purse which I then spent the rest of the evening on my phone till it was time for cake.
Yay how fucking exciting
A horde of waiters commenced from the kitchen and one of them were carrying a large circled strawberry and vanilla cake with white chocolate frosting served on a silver tray. It captured my cousins attention, Penelope, who looked so thrilled to see it I cringed at the sight I really do wish there was some way I could ruin her birthday. She's a spoilt child and she knows it.
