4 July, 2018
Today was the 4th of July and my mom, dad, and I went to visit my Uncle Rich. Surprisingly, despite his name, he is far from rich. If anything, he seems to be lucky to have a roof over his head. When we walked in, we were greeted by a bunch of red envelopes labled, "IOU" scattered on the floor of the doorway. The second thing we noticed: a rather drunk Uncle and my father having to shove him off of me when he wouldn't let go from hugging. I think I showered 15 times after getting back home.
Never the less, we spent the 4th of July there this year. Why? I still have no clue. When I asked my mother she stayed silent and said that Uncle had "plans". For now I am to assume low funds in our family bank. I mean look at us. We're no Uncle Rich either.Sincerely,
Charlie
