Soldiers and maids scrambled to the sides of the hallway as a man walked down. His powerful and ominous presence struck fear into everyone's hearts. this man was the demon prince and leader of the Ten Commandments, Meliodas. He strolled down the hallway with his wrath seething from him.
He entered his quarters and sat down at his desk. He had had a long day. Once again Galand's arrogance and pride screwed up their mission. He rested his head in hands and groaned. Then there was a knock on his door.
"Who dares bother me?" Meliodas shouted. He wasn't in the mood for nuisances.
"It is only Gowther," a familiar voice replied. As always the voice was much too friendly.
"Ah, Gowther, come in," Meliodas said. The door slowly opened and a pink-haired demon came in. Well, more accurately it was the demon's pink-haired doll. Gowther walked up to Meliodas' side.
"You are agitated by today's mission and are trying to resist killing Galand," Gowther stated.
"Stop messing around in my head Gowther," Meliodas huffed. Though he didn't particularly care, only when it was him though. Gowther smiled as if he hadn't done anything. He was the only man Meliodas was ever comfortable around. He trusted him and often confided in him.
"I know you don't care," Gowther laughed. "Ah- that reminds me!" Meliodas raised a brow. "I hear a new prince is coming soon. You'll be a big brother!" Meliodas scoffed.
"Just another pest to annoy me," Meliodas grumbled. Gowther patted his shoulder.
"I bet five silver you'll grow attached to your new brother," Gowther teased.
"As if!" Meliodas retorted. "I accept your challenge."
