What a bummer. I awoke early on a Sunday morning, atleast that's what the calendar read, intact and alive. The room was unbearably cold, I could feel stitches on my stomach, and a painting of a creepy man stood on the wall. What more could I ask for.
I mustered as much strength as I could to get up, but I paused as soon as I was greeted by the devil, or an a angel, maybe. She sat in a chair across from me with her legs crossed over eachother. She wore a light blue sweater and sweatpants; the picture of comfort.
"Well," Eliza said. For a moment I couldn't believe she was willing to make conversation. "Are you feeling alright?"
"The question is are you alright?" I asked considering she almost killed me.
"I'm sorry for my outburst. It's just that-" She pauses for a second. "I'm not stable."
I have to think twice before I say something just incase I accidentally set her off again. Anyways, it does do me justice for snooping around in her personal property. She seemed like she had more on her mind so I let her have the right of way.
"To make up for the mishap," she began. "I would like to take you somewhere, that is you don't mind a quick plane trip."
"To where? And how long?" We have at least two months left; not counting how many days I've been out.
"The trip is only a few measly hours. I cannot reveal the exact location but it's an island. I have also been told by my dear sister that we'll be spending quite some time together, so why not spend it in paradise?"
She gives me a look that just fiddles with heart. I nod shyly and I could see a tiny smile form across her face. We discuss the trip for awhile and I discover Eliza's actually a great conversationalist. She does stutter out of nervousness sometimes, but I learned much; which only makes me more fond of her.
Eliza told me she would like to take me to Guam. I remember hearing about it before. A small island. Inhabited by some natives who haven't learned what an iphone is.

"All passengers, please turn off all electronic devices, thank you," said a lady over the intercom. There was barely any chatter, or anyone, on the plane. Across from us was your average family, then two seats behind them was a business man. I wonder if he knows that there is no internet there.
The lights go dim and I see that Eliza has already fallen down under. What surprised me was that I didn't notice her head lay so gently on my shoulder. Like any normal person, I took a picture to remember this moment. She looked so absolutely adorable. So I took my chance and , ever so lightly, leaned on her so I could "cuddle" with her.
Imagination or not, I felt something warm and soft continueing to burrow itself in me. Eliza was teasing me subconsciously. Oh no, I think I might melt before we even get there.
