Jily Christmas Eve

James's P.O.V.

"PRONGSIE!!! WAKE UP!!! ITS CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!" I toss and turn in my bed, "Say that on Christmas Day!!" Sirius rolled his eyes and kept on jumping on my bed. "Well Evans is up unless you don't want to see her-" I shot up in my bed Sirius laughing as I rolled off my bed and wore anything that I kept in my trunk and combed through my hair, "Does this look good Pads?" he turned around, "It looks fine Prongs. Come on!" We walk down the stairs and overheard Lily and her friends conversation.

"Even though you hate him, you need to talk to him! At least be friends!" Alice was begging

"Potter and I will never be friends in a million years, nor will we talk without getting into an argument!" Lily says defending herself, trying not to give in.

"Just try" Marlene was encouraging Lily to talk to me.

"Its Christmas Eve! I'd rather not have an argument!"

Lily stormed off to her dorm, without her knowing that I followed her. She slams her door shut and I knock on her door. "Evans can we talk?" it took time but she managed to open her door, "What is it Potter?" I look into her emerald green eyes as she lets me in her dorm. She closes the door again and sits on the end of her bed. "I'd rather not have an argument on Christmas Eve. Neither do you so I'll make this quick. You look amazing. I've changed and didn't ask you out for 2 months! As much as I really want to ask you on a date-" Lily tilted her head confused. She was so cute whenever she did that. "Your rambling Potter. Make this quick!" she was getting impatient. "Why do Marlene and Alice want you to talk to me?" there was never an answer after that. "They just want us to hurry up and be friends. Do you want to be?" I had a smile on my face, my eyes lit up, I LOOKED LIKE A CHILD ON CHRISTMAS DAY!!! "Yes. I've waited so long for this!!" I hugged Lily as she hugged back. She smiled and opened her door. "Bye Pot-James" I smiled and walked off. The girls went to Hogsmeade and The Marauders and I went to Zonkos. We saw Lily, Marlene and Alice and walked over. "Hey girls" Lily turned around first, "Hey James, Remus....Bla-Sirius" Sirius smiled. Remus has been trying to make Lily be nice to Sirius for months! We flooed back to Hogwarts and the girls went to put their clothes on. Lily came out with a beige shirt with birds patterned on it, black pants, a black beanie, a red scarf and black ankle laced boots. She looked so cute! She also had foundation, concealer, lip gloss, mascara and bronzer on. She also had her hair in a lace rose half up-do hairstyle. Marlene then came out with a grey singlet, a jean jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers. She had lip gloss, mascara and foundation on and also had her hair in a twisted braid into a fishtail half up-do. Alice then came out with a long sleeve grey woollen shirt, jeans, grey boots, red beanie,a grey scarf and black glasses. She had foundation, concealer, lipstick and mascara on. She had her hair in a reverse braided bun and she looked cute. As Head Boy along with Lily as Head Girl, we had to go to our meetings to meet the Prefects Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin. "So Prefects! As you all know, its Christmas Eve! So you guys will have to decorate everywhere in this castle for Christmas Day tomorrow. After that, go to the kitchens and tell the house elves to make Christmas foods. Make sure to say its from Lily for Christmas or they won't make it. Then i know you guys will be exhausted so Remus you can go back to Sirius and Tonks you can go back to your boyfriend or friends. See you all later and good luck"
