We wave Taylor and Jungkook goodbye as they board their plane to Italy for their honeymoon. "Be safe!" Hannah says. "Make some babies!" I say. Taylor stops in her tracks and turns around with her mouth agape. Hannah and I die laughing.
- A few days later -
"Jimin!!! Today is my first day!!!" I say jumping out of bed and waking him up. "Hmm?" Jimin barely opens his eyes to look at me. "My first day at work! You have to take Hiro to daycare, remember? You better get up right now." I say pinching his mochi cheeks. "Ok, ok I'm up." Jimin said in his deep, raspy sleepy voice. I laugh at his serious case of bedhead.
Today is my first day at my new job! I'm a nurse for pregnant women, I do ultrasounds, and I help deliver babies! I'm so excited to start my day.
I get dressed, do my hair and my makeup. "Woah, no need to look that hot for going to work." Jimin says as he enters the bathroom with Hiro. "Babe, I work with pregnant women." I say laughing. "Yeah but there's male doctors, duh." He says and brushes Hiro's teeth. I roll my eyes. "Well, I have to go now," i kiss Hiro on the head. "please make sure he's not late and feed him breakfast. I love you two." I kiss jimin goodbye. "Ok babe I got everything under control." Jimin winks and waves goodbye.
- 6 hours later -
Ah~ finally on my way home. Such a good and long work day! I'm so excited to tell Jimin all about it.
I enter the house and smell amazing food. "Babe! You're home!" Jimin comes to the door to greet me and help me with my bags. "It smells amazing in here. Here's Hiro by the way?" I say looking around. Jimins eyes go wide. My jaw drops. "Park Jimin I swear to namjesus if you forgot to pick up Hiro I will-" I say and furrow my brows. "Babe! I'm so sorry I totally got caught up in dinner and then this movie came on and-" "TALKING ISNT DOING ANYTHING GO GET HIM! The daycare closes at 6!!! It's 6:20!!!!" I start to lose my cool. "Babe, it's ok he's safe, we know where he is." Jimin says trying to calm me down. "No Jimin it's not ok. We look like complete idiots! Forgetting to pick up our child! Do you realize how irresponsible that makes us look?!" I say a slam my keys down on the table. "You really need to calm down. It's ok. You're overreacting." Jimin says and tries to touch my shoulder. I shove his hand away. "Don't touch me." I say. "Jennifer! Stop! I'm sorry ok?! This is my first time taking care of Hiro all by myself! Cut me some slack!" Jimin says in a loud tone. "Im about to cut something on you if you don't go get our son." I say and give him the death stare. "Fine. I'll go. Enjoy the dinner it's probably cold now." Jimin says and leaves in a hurry.
I sit down and try to eat some food but I'm so angry and frustrated that I can't seem to enjoy it. I call Hannah to vent.
"Hello?" "Hi." "You sound angry, what happened?" "So today was my first day at work right?" "Right." "I left Hiro with Jimin so Jimin could take him so daycare." "Okay?" "And this freaking dimwit FORGOT TO PICK HIM UP!" "HE DID NOT!" "HE DID TOO!" "Oh no." "Then he said 'it's not that big of a deal' like for real?! It is a big deal!" "It definitely is."
"So now you're bad talking me behind my back?" Jimin says and puts Hiros bag down.
"I gotta go."
"Jimin I was just venting to Hannah, I needed to calm down, I could hardly eat." I say and he rolls his eyes. "Ok." He says and walks upstairs. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. "Hiro baby! How was your day?" I say and pick him up. "Good! We painted look!" He says and shows me his painting. "Oh wow that's beautiful! Let's hang it on the fridge." I say and take his hand. "Now everyone can see your beautiful painting!" I say and Hiro smiles. "Yay!" Hiro dances a little bit. "Are you hungry?" I ask Hiro. "Umm yeah." Hiro says and I give him some dinner. Poor baby usually eats at 5....
I go upstairs to grab something and I hear Jimin talking to what sounds like his dad. "I don't know anymore dad.. she just made me so mad. Like it wasn't even that big of a deal but she made it a big deal." I hear Jimin say. I gasp quietly. His complaining to his dad about me?! Ugh I hate fighting with Jimin but I can't believe he doesn't understand how big of a deal this is! After the phone call ends I go into the room. "Jennifer- uhm hi." Jimin says and puts his phone in his pocket. "Hi Jimin." I say and grab my baby phone charger. "I was thinking I would sleep on the couch tonight." Jimin says and looks down. ? That's surprising "Jimin-" I sit next to him to try and talk about this. "Im gonna go eat dinner." He says and gets up and heads downstairs. I sigh and rub my head.
