Chap. 2~ New Girl

Jackie's POV:

My schedule looked like this;

1. Math

2. Science

3. Lunch/Break

4. Language Arts

6. Chemistry

7. Physics

8. Study Hall

9. Free Period/ Enrichment

Well, off to my first class... I thought to myself, following Kim down the hallway. Luckily, as we were outside the door a few moments later, we hadn't seen the four boys. Kim slowly opened the door, and we walked in. All eyes were on us as we walked in and I looked at the huge clock. Shoot, we were late by ten minutes. But as I looked back at the teacher and my new class, I was recieving smiles, not frowns. I waved to my class, a bit more confident now. I looked at the name written down on the board for my teacher. Ms. Calliway. I smiled, and she said, "Hi! You must be our new student, Jackie?" I nodded, and she pointed to a seat in the middle left of the room. "You may sit in that seat in between Kim and Jake." I nodded and walked through the rows, Kim follwing, and I spotted a boy with sideswept, black hair, dark brown eyes, and a grey beanie on giving me a wave. I sat my stuff down on the desk, Kim next to me, and sat down. Then, satisfied, the teacher got on with her lesson about how to calculate a circumfrence and blah blah blah. I mostly tuned out, until she said, "Okay, now everyone is partnered up with the person to the left of you, and complete this packet by the end of class, or it's homework." She passed out a small, about 5 page packet to everyone, and everyone immediatley turned to their assigned partner. I looked to my left, and not to see Kim, but Jake. I smiled, shy, and he pulled his chair up to my desk. He looked up and smiled. "Hey, you already know, but I'm Jake. You're Jackie, right?" I nodded. He looked at me and let out a small laugh. "Did you even pay any attention during that lesson?" I blushed and shook my head no. He laughed again. 'You're lucky I did." I nodded, smiling. A few minutes later, Jake had explained it to me, and I got it. Afterwards, right as we finished, the bell rang. He smiled and handed me a slip of paper. "Here, text me sometime." He dragged his chair back and smiled, grabbing his stuff and walking out of the room. Kim tapped my shoulder. "Got a boyfriend already? That's surprising." I laughed, and she did as well, we gathered up our things and walked to our lockers. I had got mine right next to Kims. I opened it and put my things away, taking the things out that I needed for Lunch, and science. I sighed. Thank gosh today was almost over. Kim pointed in the direction of the lunch room. "Hey, we're already running late so I'll meet you there, kay?" I smiled and nodded. She grinned and skipped towards the cafeteria. I slammed my locker and turned around, only to be slammed back into the lockers, my stuff scattering everywhere. I looked up, and saw the four boys I had been dreading to see, Michael, Luke, Calum, and Ashton. I gulped. How was I going to get out of this?
