keep me warm

you were wearing more layers than you could possibly imagine

the heating in your flat had broken earlier that day and when you tried to go to bed, you found yourself shivering under the many layers of clothes and blankets you had on you

after tossing and turning for a while, trying anything to get yourself to sleep

you finally resorted to calling ben...

you grabbed your phone from the bedside table and pressed the call icon on his contact

it ringed a couple times before he answered and you heard a groggy "hello?"

you responded with a quiet "hi"

you could hear the sleep in his voice and instantly felt bad for waking him up

"are you okay??" he asked sleepily with concern in his voice.. you couldn't blame him it was almost 1am

"yeah i'm sorry for waking you up it's just... the heating in my flat is broken and i can't sleep" you said shyly

"come to mine.. i'll leave the door unlocked just let yourself in when you get here" he replied instantly like it was no big deal

"okay... i'll be there soon.. thank you ben" you responded

"of course love... see you soon" he responded and you hung up.

you got out of bed, trying to limit the shivering of your body

you packed a few things for the morning in your bag, put on your coat and headed to bens flat

when you got there you let yourself in, hanging up your coat and leaving your bag on the kitchen table

you headed upstairs and into bens room where you saw him laying with frankie by his feet

frankie instantly perked up and came to greet you

you took off the sweatshirt you had on, leaving you in an oversized shirt, one of bens as you set the sweatshirt on the chair in the corner of his room

ben turned over when he heard commotion and groggily smiled at you

"come here" he said and held out his arms to you

you climbed into bens warm bed and cuddled into his bare chest, instantly engulfed by his strong arms rubbing your cold skin in an effort to warm you up

"thank you for letting me come over, sorry for waking you up" you said and you looked up at him

he smiled down at you "anything to keep you warm love" he said and kissed your lips

you smiled into the kiss and cuddled further into his warm body

"you're so warm" you commented

ben laughed and replied with "you're so cold" and continued rubbing up and down your back and sides trying to produce heat on your skin

"the heatings supposed to be fixed tomorrow" you said

"hmm maybe i'll have to spend the night at yours tomorrow.. you know, just to make sure the heatings working properly" he said and smirked at you

you laughed and leaned up to kiss him "sounds like a plan" you said

he smiled at you and pulled you closer to him "get some sleep babe" he said as he kissed your forehead

you obliged and soon let sleep take over
