Bulletproof Love

Chapter 1

Skye's POV

Another bright day in hell. Why am I here? For my best friend Midnight. And cause my big brothers Mike and Vic are ass holes. I was in Biology class and that was hell. Junior year sucks, dick. A lot.

I got a text from Midnight;

From: Midnight

To: Skye

Hey hoe, meet me at the front doors as soon as the bell rings. We gotta talk with Mike.

From: Skye

To: Midnight

Kay. Why?

From: Midnight

To: Skye

Reasons. Just meet us there. I've told Mike already.

I read the text, than put my phone away. I looked at the clock. '10 minuets till lunch' I thought to myself.

I started doodling in my notebook waiting for time to pass by, and the next thing I knew the bell was ringing. Thank god! I ran out of the class and too my locker. I grabbed my bag and ran towards the front door looking for Midnight and Mike.

"Hey guys" I said once I got there. Surprisingly I was a good runner for someone like me. I had long, black hair with a fringe, I had shark bites on the right side of my lip, my nose was pierced and I had my whole ear pierced. Both Midnight and I had spacers. But they weren't big like Vic and Mike's one friend Tony Perry. He's got huge ass ones. Their kinda disgusting until you get use to them. I was pretty skinny, but still had meet on my bones. And let's just say I'm a band obsessed teenager with Midnight.

"Hey. We're going home early. According to Vic and Kellin they've gotta do something and we've gotta help." Mike said from beside me. "Okay." I said simply.

As I started to head out of the door, the school bully Johnnie stepped in my way. "Move Johnnie." I said as I tried to make my way through him. "No. Tell me where your going" he said being the ass hole he is. "Fucking christ. Why do you care so much. Get the fuck out of my way." I said firmly. "Awe, is Skye going to cry to her big brothers?" He said in a mocking voice. "Storm..." Midnight whispered under her breath as I felt the rage coming to me. I grabbed the collar of Johnnie's shirt and started punching him in the jaw. When he looked like he was gonna go down I threw him to his friends who were right infront of us and glared at them. They ran and I walked out of the school.

"Why did he care?" Midnight asked. "I've got no clue. And I don't care." I said with a shrug. "Skye, start acting proper. You know mom wouldn't like hearing you got into fights all the time with Johnnie. Vic did with Johnnie's older brother Bryan. And mom hated it." Mike said, just bringing back the memories of mom and dad wanted me to smack him. Which I did. "Don't you ever say something about my attitude and how mom would want it. She's not here! I've shut down that part of her Mike." I said quietly.

As we walked to Vic's car I screamed shotgun and ran to Vic. "Hey Victor." I said teasingly. "Hey squirt." He said.

We're basically the same. Except he was the male older version of me.

"Skye slapped me." Mike randomly said once we were driving away, to I don't know... neverland? "Yeah. I saw. What happened?" Vic asked. I honestly didn't care if he got upset. It's just Mike. "Your a fucking idiot. Why'd you say that to her?!" I heard Vic yelling at Mike. "Cause she needed to hear it!" He yelled back. I looked back at Kellin and Midnight, having an apologizing look on my face. Midnight just nodded. They were use to us three yelling at each other for something stupid we did.

Vic and Mike went on for another ten minuets until we reached the mall. "Why are we here?" I asked as we all got out of the car. "You guys are getting your volunteer hours at HotTopic. Because I'm the manager I can do that." Vic said as Kellin waked beside him.
