"Well if you're going to give them a chance I guess you should start explaining what happened last year then?" Laura says smiling apologetically. I cringe. "How about we get pizzas?" I offer. "Later we will, but for now tell us what happened?" Luke says. "Well I guess if you all want to know then you should all sit down." They do as I say and I sit myself next to Luke and Calum, "I'm going to make myself coffee I don't really want to hear this again." Laura says, I smile and nod at her.
"Okay so it all started, right after you left" I say already holding back the tears "mum got more and more headaches until one night my brother rang for an ambulance, they took her and did some scans. They found a brain tumor!" I say half whispering & crying. Luke had put his arm around me & I lent into his chest. "She was given two weeks to live. Two weeks. Imagine if Seth hadn't have called for an ambulance that night! She spent her last days in hospital and after she passed away Seth moved out, so it was just me on my own for months, until I met Laura." I stopped for breath and looked up, all of them were crying, they were all close with my mum. "She's great, we both love animals and shopping! She managed to distract me from everything and I have came to terms with my mums death now and I know that there's nothing I can do to change that. I know it's not your fault that you left but after you stopped talking to me I found it hard to forget about you, you know, you're everywhere!" I laugh a bit. "Laura tried her best to help me forget but she knew I could never."
I look up at the boys & Laura who had came back. "I honestly tried and I still don't like you! But if Darcy's happy then so am I" she says smiling. All of the boys give me a long hug and apologise for leaving. "It's not your fault boys! Just next time you better take me with you!" I joke. "And yeah if you could get me Harry Styles number that would be great!" I laugh. Calum hugs me again. "The first one we can do" he laughs "but I don't think harry styles is your type D!"he says giving me my old nickname.
"Oh yeah? How do you know?" I laugh. "Let's just say, he's not got blue enough eyes" Ashton says winking at me. I flush red and cover my face. They all laugh apart from Laura who frowns & Luke who looks down, just as embarrassed as me.
"Can we order pizza now?" I beg. "I'll have pepperoni!" They all laugh, "we know" Ashton says.
1 hour later
"PIZZAS HERE!" I shout as the door bell rings. I sprint to the door. "1 large pepperoni, 1 large ham & pineapple, 2 large meat feasts & 2 large chicken & bacon?" The pizza girl says. "Yep!" I su excitedly, she hands me all the pizzas and Calum takes them from me. "That's £58.40 please?" I hand her the money but Luke shoves in front, I frown at him. "Pizzas on me?" He says winking at me, which causes me to blush.
"Hey, are you guys. 5 seconds of summer?" The pizza girl asks, handing Luke his change, "yeah we are" he says. "I thought I recognised you! Enjoy your pizzas" she says handing him the receipt which had her number scribbled on it. "Haha come on superstar, pizzas getting cold" I wink at him. He screws up the paper and shoves it in the bin. We enjoy the rest of the night eating our body weight in pizza and watching movies.
