Katherine and Elena

Once again, Elena found herself risking her life to look after her loved ones. Ever since her parents had passed she felt very strongly about her responsibilities, such as her younger brother. And yes, being the girlfriend of a vampire and the best friend of another one she found herself and the people around her constantly in danger. Stefan her boyfriend and his brother, Damon, always tried to keep the fragile human girl safe, but sometimes it was like she was slipping through their fingers. Elena always tried to fix things up alone and it'd be a matter of time before she finds herself with something too big for her to handle.

That dark night Elena found herself standing right in the entrance of a terrorific looking cave, right outside Mistic Falls. Things had taken a turn for the worse in her life, since an ancient vampire was now after her. She was desperate to get more information, and as Damon and his brother wouldn't give her any, she decided to begin her own search. A good place to start was exactly where she was. You see inside the cave was another vampire, trapped by an enchantment that forbid any escape from it. Elena waited patiently a few inches away from the magic line, holding a bag of blood she had stolen from Stefan's storage, knowing the vampire she was waiting for wouldn't delay anymore their appearance.

Heavy steps could be heard from the deep ocean of darkness ahead of her, but Elena remained calmed and bravely waited for the creature to approach. Pale bone dry fingers grasped on the wall seeking for balance as an almost limp body laid on it, threatening to crumble down with the slightest wind. Dark red eyes suddenly posed on her like a hunter to its prey, causing a strong shiver go down the human girl's body. The creature smirked at her with malice as she twisted her head to take a better look of her visitor.

"Well hello Elena" Katherine greeted her darkly. The said vampire looked exactly like her and there was a reason to it. She has her twin from another time, a doppleganger they called it. She had also been in love with both Stefan and Damon, who now died in love for Elena. But more importantly, being her doppleganger she knew all about that vampire that was chasing Elena seeking for her immediate death: Klaus.

"I want you to tell me about Klaus" Elena spoke with as much determination as she could muster, showing the starved vampire the bag of blood she was holding. The meer smell of it caused Katherine to slam herself against the magic wall that separated them, breathing heavily while staring right into the bag in Elena's hand.

Forced by the hunger, Katherina sat patiently against the wall waiting for Elena to fix her a drink. Nothing like a good O positive to loose the tongue a little bit. Elena carefully pushed the cup filled with blood with a stick in the thirsty vampire's direction, who as soon as it was under reach she emptied it in her dried out mouth. Feeling a little bit more inclined now, Katherine started to answer Elena's questions. Minute after minute, cup after cup, the vampire started to fill in Elena's knowledge gaps when it came The Originals Vampires and even themselves, the dopplegangers.

"I don't understand. What did Klaus want with you?" Elena asked after Katherine's tale was done. The cheeky vampire, feeling more lively now gently tilted her head to the side to take a better look of the naive human.

"The same thing he wants from you. To spill every single drop of blood in your body" "If you were smart, you'd run like me.

"I'm not like you. I'm not gonna run" Elena stated determined to put an end to this madness and not just cower under a rock or something.

"You're right, you're not me" Katherine surprised her saying and while Elena was distracted with her own thought, she took the chance and reached for the tip of the stick that was across the magic border, forcing the human to fall forwards. Once she was within her reach, Katherine dragged her ancient twin to the other side of the cave.

"You're just stupid, and you think you're so tough" Katherine spoke venomously to Elena while she held her down over her knees. "They don't even like you you know. Stefan and Damon. You're just a cheap copy of me" she completed her sentence with nothing but anger in her lips while the human girl fought hysterically.

"Let go now!" Elena demanded with the little amount of bravery she had left.

"Oh in a minute" the strong vampire girl said with a malicious smirk and raised her hand high in the air.

In a super human speed, Katherine slammed her hand viciously against the vulnerable bottom in front of her. Elena barely had time to scream for help, with not much success seeing nobody was there. What was worse, nobody even knew she was there.

The rough treatment brought multiple bruises to Elena's fragil body but still it wasn't enough for Katherine. The latest one hated the human girl with all her might, convinced she had stolen the two men that venerated her for centuries. Now the fun was all ruined because of her stupid doppelganger, but she still had the adge. There's not much a human can do against a trained vampire like her.

"Let go of me please" Elena cried in despair feeling she was about to pass out from the pain. She couldn't take not even one more smack.

"I like it when you beg" Katherine talked down to her while grasping her fingers on her hair, earning a squeak from the fragile human. "Now I'd hold in my breath if I were you".

With a renewed force, Katherine went back to the task she had settled in her mind. To bring as much pain and humiliation to her doppelganger as possible. Maybe when they see what a whiny baby she is, the other two vampires would lose interest in the human and they'd be back by her side. What was so great about humans anyways? She focused her next two hits on the sit spots of the backside before her, causing Elena to twist painfully and scream bloody murder. It only brought more satisfaction to the vampire, who would have kept going if it wasn't for a loud booming scream that startled her.

"Katherine, stop!" Stefan demanded to the furious looking girl, who held a defiant look towards him

"Stefan please help me" Elena's desolated bawl reached the said vampire ears and it only drove him more furious.

"You'll regret it if you don't let her go now" he now spoke darkly to the mean woman that was hurting his loved one.

"Please. You and what army" Katherine stated sassily while slamming her hand harshly right in the middle of Elena's trembling but.

"You better do as we say Katherine, or I'll go in there and put you through hell" Damon's husky voice entered the scene, causing Katherine's eyes to open like saucers.

Somehow the blue eyed vampire was really convincing when he spoke to people, any kind of people. Not that she'd ever admit it, but Damon could be cruel when threatened and it honestly gave Katherine the chills whenever he posed those eyes on her. Feeling defeated and having spoiled the fun, the angry vampire threw away the almost limp body of their girlfriend for them to pick up. With her arms crossed on her chest, she narrowed her eyes to Elena that was being comforted by Stefan on the ground.

"It's ok, we got you. She can't hurt you any longer" Stefan reassured Elena that wouldn't stop the waterworks even when the spanking was long over with.

"I'm sorry I came here Stefan, I'm sorry" Elena cried harder knowing she had been wrong to disobey the advice of the vampires that had in the end come to her rescue.

"What matters is that you're safe now. Let's get you home" Stefan said and picked up Elena bride style and started walking towards the exit. Not being followed by her brother, he wiped his head curiously and addressed directly to him. "Damon come on".

The oldest of them two had petrified right in front of Katherine's figure, who stood there clumsily feeling the effect of the blood shading away. They hadn't lost eye contact ever since he had spoken to her, and he had approached enough to be face to face with him right on the magic border.

"If you ever ever even touch her again, I'll follow through my earlier threat" Damon promised and double promised with his look to the trembling vampire in front of him. Even being really strong, Katherine had learnt better than to make Damon furious. The latest could be extremely vengative.

Still all the fear in the world didn't stop Katherine from posing her eyes on Elena barely Damon turned his back on her. She smiled from ear to ear while she mumbled. "Until next time Elena" she promised revengefully as she waved her hand before disappearing again in the dark.
