Maura pov

I walked out of work after having quite a bad day,I had a massive argument with sergeant korsak  and the chief.

I threw the autopsy report at them and left and then I ended up just sitting outside bpd crying my eyes out korsak walked past me and said to me "stop crying Maura get over yourself you just put your job on the line but throwing stuff at the chief it was your fault nobody else's." with that he walked off it made me think I was being slightly silly so I walked back in towards my office and people everywhere were making fun of me it made me feel horrible so I walked down to my office and grabbed my stuff and left a piece of paper saying

dear everyone

I have taken a few days of because of today if YOU don't appreciate what I take quite seriously you don't need my service if you want me you tell me yourself if you don't I will quit my job and take the one I was offered in Washington dc

with that note I left and went home.

Jane pov

I walked down to autopsy because we had a dead body and Maura hadn't answered her phone I found a note instead I called korsak down he looked really guilty.

"What did you do."I said he looked shocked that I had used a angry tone of voice.

"she didn't want to do something because if what she believed and I told her to do it or we would fire her."

"what do you mean we."

"um well Me and the chief."

after he said that I threw the letter at hos face and went to Mauras house.

I knocked on the door.

Maura pov

"yea I know Jen but I can't leave without seeing if they want me,goodbye Jen."I said as I hung up

I walked down the stairs my eyes were red where I  had been crying there was another bang on the door "I'm coming."

I yell.

as I run down the stairs.

I got to the door and Jane was standing there.

"hey Maura."she said with tears running down her face.

Jane pov

m:"hey."

j:"Maura I.....
