I advanced slowly towards the room, my hands shaking with terror. My heart pounded loudly in my cardium sac. As I reached the door knob, loud screams emitted from behind that door.

My breath was unconsciously being held and my mind went blank as I peeked through a crack. Hands were attached to the walls, whipped sounds could be heard.

Just then, someone turned me around and handed me a pendant.

- '"keep it with you and remember I love you"

-"I LOVE YOU!" I yelled loudly, my head raising up.

7 pairs of magnificent eyes were glued on me but my eyes got locked with those of Jimin.

I didn't realize that I was panting heavily, sweat glued to my face and body nastily. My left hand was on my pounding heart while the other one was holding firmly my necklace.

- " I love you too..?" The latter replied with a confused face.

Before I could question him, a throaty growl was heard from behind and in a blinking of an eye, I was pressed firmly against Jungkook's muscular chest with his hands on my waist and his head nuzzled in my head.

-" Mine" he growled warningly to Jimin which he responded with a sheepish smile.

But then all attention turned to me again.

- " Are you alright Elenor? You've been panting since earlier while holding your necklace tightly. Did you have a nightmare?" Yoongi asked me concerned.

Somehow my attention was not focused on anything nor anymore; I stared blankly at my pendant.

- " what's wrong with your pendant? Baby what's wrong? " Jungkook asked me worriedly, cupping my cheeks gently.

All of a sudden, I felt suffocated; everyone was literally glaring at me which was not helping in my case.

I wiggled myself out of Jungkook's firm grip and walked to my room while whispering 'I'm going for a shower. See you later'

And with that, it was the end of our awkward tension in the living room.

Staring at the ceiling continuously may seem creepy for some but actually, the ceiling is one's bestfriend in tensed situations as mine.

My thoughts were brutally interrupted when the 95' line fell down on the floor. Eventually a smile cracked on me and I chuckled noiselessly.

- " if you guys were trying to spy on me then let me tell you, this was an epic fail "

Immediately both stood up and tidied themselves with their usual smiles when suddenly 'boom' sound echoed throughout the house and within seconds, Jin screamed loudly 'Hoseok-ah!'

That was the complete chaos.

Jimin and Taehyung, being faster than me sped up downstairs along with the others. In the meantime I was descending the stairs. The moment I stepped inside the room, everyone was circling around Hoseok who lied unconsciously on the ground. Upon seeing me, Jungkook rushed to my side and hugged me tightly, ensuring that my view was blocked.

- 'it's okay baby. Breath in and out! Relax Elenor" Jungkook reassured me calmly.

My teary eyes closed themselves and I rested myself against his chest. His perfume calmed my nerves down and eventually my tears dried.

- 'what happened to Hoseok?' I whispered silently, feeling safe when Jungkook kept rubbing my back gently.

He kissed my temple sweetly before pecking my cheeks and replied

- ' he was talking with Jin hyung when suddenly he fell down. I don't..." he was suddenly cut off when Namjoon growled loudly.

- " JUNGKOOK GO FETCH THE FUCKING DOCTOR NOW!"

For the first time in my life, I heard Namjoon yelled, let alone swearing at anyone.

First time I heard him speak in his Alpha tone.

Immediately Jungkook drew back from me and transformed into his massive wolf. In a howl, I found myself on his back, running at full speed towards the headquarters.

I would be lying to say that I wasn't nervous and worried for Hoseok right now.

Pacing back and forth, Namjoon had his knuckles tightened firmly at the back with his betas, Yoongi and Jin by his side. In the meantime, Jimin and Taehyung went for a general check over the pack while Jungkook drove the doctor bac home.

Jin's mate and son were in NYC for christmas shopping while Yoon Ji... I don't know where she was. Yesterday she told Hoseok she was going to visit her hometown to which he had half-heartily agreed. She was supposed to return back next week. While Shin Min and Min Seok were supposed to be back within a few days.

Did she felt that Hobi was sick? That's what normally the least mates could feel

- "Elenor come here!" Namjoon called loudly.

Standing up from my comfy bed, I lazily walked to his main office where Yoongi and Jin also stood.

As soon as I entered, both betas did a head nod and Namjoon asked me to sit down.

Nervous as heck, I took a seat at his table nervously and straightened my back. Sweat formed in my palms as I waited for his next words.

- " Elenor that's okay. You can relax yourself, no need to be stressed" Yoongi said with a sly smile.

I nodded and relaxed myself slightly, seeing Namjoon relaxed as well. Once he was completely calmed down, he took his seat and faced me with a tired smile.

- " first of all, I'm sorry for having scolded earlier. It's just that I was tensed  with Hobi and..."

- "It's okay Alpha no need to apologize" I interrupted, bending my head.

All I heard was a sigh before my head got lifted up by Jin who immediately hugged me tightly.

- " don't be so formal with us. We're your family Elenor." Jin reassured me.

I nodded before turning his hug back and got up from seat and hugged both Yoongi and Namjoon. At first he was taken aback but gradually he laughed and returned it back.

- " now that it's all settled, let the real talk began alright" Yoongi said.

I nodded with a smile and sat down again, this time less anxious.

- " as you know, Hobi is unconscious and the doctor had to come to see him"

I nodded

- " well the thing is that no one have told you yet what happened, right?"

I nodded, Jungkook told me he'd tell me later on since he didn't get the time to tell me.
         
I waited fearfully for his next words which soon, I regretted

- " Yoon Ji is dead "
