Later that night Phlox sat in her bedroom. When she arrived home her mom was gone with a note that simply said love you. Phlox should have been sad that she was alone but she couldn't bring her self to, in all honestly the only thing she could feel was numbness. With a heavy sigh she walked around the house to turn the lights off. When she was done she went to her bedroom. Phlox walked to the left were she had stand set up. It was old and wooden, she had painted a soft cream colour. On the top of it was an electric tea pot. Picking it up, she walked to her bathroom were she rinsed it out and filled it up. Setting it down she let it do it's magic. Phlox walked into her closet were she changed out of her clothes into something more relaxing. It took her a hour to get her normal night routine done, so she could start her homework and drink her 'Yarrow and mint.' Tea. She spent almost an hour and half on her homework and when it was finally finding she put it away.

The sound of her bedroom door slamming open woke phlox. She had went to bed soon after finishing her homework. Looking up she saw a crying Cheryl. Cheryl didn't waste a moment, she flung her self into her loves arms and cried. Phlox didn't understand what had happened but that wouldn't stop her from helping cheryls. They both sat there with only the sound of Cheryls crying surrounding them. When Cheryl had calmed down enough she had explained what had happened. Phlox felt anger flow through her body. It was a feeling that rarely came to the sweetheart but it was there. Cheryl clung to the girl she loved more. "Cheryl... centipede." Yes, an odd thing to say but it had done it's job. Cheryls sad and crying face seemed to disappear and in its place was a small smile. Letting a laugh she flung her head back and continued. You see during the summer all three of them were in Phlox s back yard. She had made them a nice brunch and they were enjoying it. When Cheryl stood up and screamed. A little centipede had crawled on her and scared her to death. Now when ever either of them are sad that's the word they used. All night that's what they did. They laughed and cried. Cheryl had changed into some of her pajama she had brought there months ago and now wore no make up.
