Jenna looked at me confusingly. "Hello," She whispered moments later. My head turned quickly and I looked into her chocolate eyes. She had a black bob, with a stubby pony tail at the top which was naturally yellow.
"Hi" I whispered meekly back. She just told me that I was now a witch and to sit down at this table. Which brought us here, on a table. There were other tables around, but no people. It looked as if we were in a cafeteria, which it probably was. On my left, there was a whole wall which was just a window showing the outside world. There was a field, then a large fence to keep us in and others out. There was a tree, looking as if it was an oak, and a picnic table next to it. Then on my left there were stairs leading up to the second floor of the cafeteria. There was the kitchen, where you pick up your food. Right under the kitchen there was a stage, presumingly for assembly or someone to say or preform something while people eat. If you were on the second floor, you would be able to see the people on the first floor, because there was a hole there. I looked back Jenna. Jenna isn't scary as far as I know, but I have only been with her for five minutes.

"You know why you're here, right?" Jenna asked. I stopped.
"Um, no..." I regretted that as soon as I said it.
"Let me tell you..." She started, "You have been put into a group with me, Bree, Jacklyn, and Harly. We are the Witches, aka the good guys. Then there's the Withers, Eve, Ellen, Cyrese, Alex and Lullaby. We're both out for each other, okay? But then, we were smart and got people to help us, we have the Witchls, Pertune, Kelli, Ness, Collie and their new person, whoever that may be. This means that the Withers got help from the Witherls, Stella, Scarlett, Mella, Carly and Ellon. We're learning new spells, since we are in a boarding school. Try to win, okay. Do you Understand?"
I nodded.
"Good" she replied. Really, I don't understand, but I'm not one to ask questions.
Win? Have I been led into a competition? How do you win in a school, or are there mini competitions that are held? Why am I a Witch, what if I want to be a Wither? Or even be in the Witchls or Witherls group? That's only the year 7 groups. I should of gone into a different school. I don't even know what a magic degree gets you, since I've heard that you get a degree at the end of magic school, since they have an extra 3 years that students can do, then they graduate.

I'm one of the youngest witches. Well, I'm the youngest witch, but the youngest wither is Stella. I only knew that because Stella was at my old school, Cranberry Primary. I remember her running down the halls over to me, hugging me tightly as she was telling me how she was entered into Crystal Rain Academy with me too. I also remember her saying that she was starting off as a Wither, and when I come she hopes her teammates will choose me. Long story short, they didn't, they chose Lullaby. This boarding school is basically for people who got at least 150/200 marks on their MSE. MSE of corse standing for Magic, Sorcery and Elements. I got 172, I worked so hard to get that score. I don't even know if this school was worth my all my hard work... Is it?

"We should get going now." Jenna said, then she jumped out of her seat and pushed it back under the table. I did the same. Jenna and I walked through a long hallway. There were more windows, which lead to the real world. There were people walking, cars driving, bikers riding. The rain splattered down, making a little 'pit pat, pit pat' noise. Someone was walking towards us, green eyes, dyed purple hair, slim face and body, round, small nose and paper thin lips.
"Hey, Pertune! What's up?" Jenna stopped and talked to Pertune. I stopped too.
"Just getting the new person in the Witchls group. Who's this?" Pertune asked, pointing at me.
"This is the new member of the Witches, Kaylee!" Jenna exclaimed.
"Lovely! But this means that those Withers and Witherls have a new member."
"Whatever, we have a nice one, unlike those meddling swines who probably got another terrible troll!" Pertune nodded at Jenna's statement and carried on walking. It was a silent walk, no talking, no looking at each other, nothing. I guess Jenna is the silent type. I wonder what the food here tastes like. Can we cook our own? I hope so. What will my wand look like? I hear that the Witches's wands are made out of birch wood, Witchls's is jungle wood, Withers's is dark oak wood and Witherls's is oak wood. To be honest, I would rather have the dark oak wands. They look nicer to me.

Jenna led me to a door, which had the words 'Witches, no meddling swines allowed inside!' I guessed the so called 'meddling swines' was the Withers and Witherls. The door had stickers on it, they were of things like brooms and wands to unicorns and fairies. "Open the door!" Jenna encouraged me. I rest my hand on the golden door handle, twisted, then pushed...

Authors note:

Hello! Do you like this story so far? I hope so! Well, please leave comments on your opinion and how I should improve this story. I hope I end up carrying on this story, unlike what ended up happening with Harmony. Do you want me to bring Harmony back? I do, but I don't know how to lead on the story. It's a bit short, but chapters get longer and longer as the story goes on.

Thanks for reading chapter 1 and the author's note! See you hopefully later, bye!

(Whenever I put bye it puts it as by- Extention! and I have no idea why.)
