Zion

Quickly getting up as fast as I could, wheeling myself down the hall. Which was hard to do since there was barely any light to see. The cries continued and I tried to find Zions room.
Finally finding his room I open his door. To see him thrashing around in his bed his cries have turned to filled on screaming. I wheeled to his side and stood and shifted on the bed. He stilled for an amount of time that I could straddle him.
"Z-Zion!" He stopped moving but didn't stop crying and whimpering something I couldn't understand. I cupped his face in my small hands and gently rubbed his tears away.
"Zi-Zi come on... wake up it's ok" gently calling him forth and his eyes flutter open. All red and puffy he sits up causing me shift down a bit.
"R-Ro- I-I th-they -I.." shushing him rest his head my chest and I tell him three words and he obliged to it.
"Let it out"
He let go and cried and cried for about an hour and a half. Until he became tired and fell asleep. I decided to just sleep with him so I tilted to left until we landed on our side.
His head still on my chest I combed my fingers through his longish hair. Hearing him grunt or sniffle occasionally shifting a bit. Surprised he was still up thinking he fell asleep.
"I had a b-brother." His voice cracked full of sadness and regret mostly guilt. I kissed his head for him to keep going and I was listening.
"We were inseparable we did everything together"
*FLSH🔙*
•5yr old ZionPOV•
"Zeke! Come on let's go on an adventure" 5yr old Zion exclaimed excitedly while pulling his younger brother along.
"Otay Shion leths go to Jupither!" 4yr old Zeke yelled and off they went to there "secret" tree house. Letting there imagination take them.
~Present~
"He was a bit slower than most but, I didn't care he was my brother I loved him no matter what."
*FLSH🔙*
"Slow poke!" "Lother!" "HAHAHHAAHAHAH!" All the students around laughed as the group of boys continued to bully little Zeke. He just wanted to find his brother on the big kids playground.
"HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" His wish came true as Zion came storming through the path being made for him. He was the tallest and strongest in his 5th grade class.
"Come on Zion we were just having fun" the leader of the group Rickie said. His 'friends' adding there agreements. Zion picked up his little brother and dusted his shirt of and giving his cracked glass glasses.
"You go stand over there by that tree and look for me a caterpillar ok?" Zeke nods his head and whispers 'catherpillar, go find catherpillar' and off he went. Zion turned around advanced towards the boys that touched his brother.
"Aaahh!- He!" They all got a beating and scrambled away right after crying. The leader though said the one word he hated hearing people call Zeke.
" You May have beat us up but he will forever be RETARDED!"
!BOOM!
Let's just say Zion and Zeke walked home with 2 new caterpillars while Rickie Beech went home after 3 weeks of being in the hospital.
~Present~
He chuckled remembering the memory of the bully being in pain. Before it turned to silent tears when he remembered the week after. Rosa was tearing up but small watery smile on her face imagining it.
"Everything was ok until that day my parents went to take him to the doctors. He kept saying he could barely hear us. I didn't go because I had alpha training..." he started choking up he could barely say the words he wanted to say.
M-mayb-be if I-I h-had g-gon-ne He wou-would b-be here aahhh th-they sssaiid he h-had to g-get a ahhhh why!? Why him he was my b-baby brbrother blood or n-not he wwas ahhh"
"Shhhshhh let it out Zi-Zi let it all out" I cradles him like a baby in my arms and rocked him to sleep. Sighing I look out the window but a picture catches my eye. My eyes widen when I see I'm guessing little Zion but the little boy next to him with out his glasses on is another guess Zeke. They really didn't look related but from what I heard they sure are.

Looking back down at Zion I got comfortable and closed my eyes. Sleep not to far behind reminiscing today's events.
