The next day Phlox walked Right By The Student Lounge, just in time to hear Reggie talk ill of Jughead. Her baby blue heels stopped as she turned her body to face them. She silently watched as Archie Andrews come to Jughead defense. Phlox would have smiled if it wasn't such a tense moment. Her baby blue eyes filled with tears as she listened to Reggie accuse them of ill things. Before anyone could react a fight had broken out and Archie was on the ground. Everyone stared in shock till a throat was cleared. Everyone's head practicing snapped towards the sound: phlox. Shooting then all a look that spoke volumes to everyone, walked towards fill she reached the couch and picked up a varsity jacket. Without saying any thing she walked to the door, ready to leave. Well almost that it.. She paused till she reached the trash. Where she let go of the jacket..

Phlox stood off the side as everyone cheered. As she looked around she could see everyone's expression. She wasn't very find of football games but Cheryl begged for her to come and she just couldn't say no.. specially after what betty did to her. A smile clung to her lips as she watched the pussy cats sing. They were good but not her style if she was being honest with her self. One thing that made coming worth is was seeing Cheryl in her cheer uniform. It clung to all the right curves and made her look amazing but best of all.. She looked happy. That's all she could ask for. It wasn't till the bull dogs came that everything changed. Phlox s eyes found Archie figure and there they stayed.He looked so much like.. him.The once beaming smile left her lips and in its place was her hand. She tried desperately to keep her chocking sobs in but a few leaked. It wasn't till gaps where heard did Phlox' s eyes go to the retreating figure of Cheryl Blossom. With out much thought Phlox chased after the girl who she loved. Everyone watched in shock at the two ran away.. They watched as Phlox kicked her heels off and didn't even bother picking then up. It had taken Phlox five minutes to find Cheryl. Together they held eachother and cried. They cried for their lost love, they cried for pain and they cried because the truth was even more hard to handle. Now more then ever. They had cried together for 10 minutes till Phlox pushed her self away and went to get them each a towel. Stopping in front of a mirror she wiped her make up and fixed it. Her hair that she wore in a pony was a mess, so letting it down she fixed it as best as possible. When she thought she looked fine enough, Phlox went back to Cheryl. In her hands was a towel, make up wipes, and one single rose. (Yes she keeps them in the gym locker.) It was slightly dry, seeing as Phlox had them hanging up side down. That didn't stop the beauty of them. It wasn't till she got back to Cheryl did she see her in the arms of veronica lodge. Walking closer she took the red head from the raven haired girl. Cheryl clung to her find the smell of lavender relaxing and calming... most of she felt safe. "I think I have it from here.. thank you veronica." Veronica didn't know what to do but nod. She hasn't even been acknowled by Phlox before. Veroica saw something in phlox.. some thing she hadn't seen before.. real kindness.

Phlox pulled the cherry red car to stop out side of pops. She had called a little while ago. They were gonna go stay at the blossoms. A place neither felt safe but they didn't have a choice. Turning her head to look at Cheryl she smile. "centipede" this caused a full hearty laugh to leave Cheryls throat. As odd as the word is.. It did seem to crack up Cheryl Blossom. Leaning over she game the blonde a kiss on the cheek and leaned back. With a giggle Phlox opened the car door and got out, leaving Cheryl to watch her. The sound of the little bell made four people sitting in a booth look over. They all watched the once crying girl smile at pops and nod. Four people who would uncover so much in so little time. Veronica lodge, the curious new girl watches closely. She had seen Phlox make Cheryl laugh. So when blue/ green eyes meet brown (?). All breath seemed leave her lungs as Phlox walked towards them. Thus caused the crowned boy to sit straighter and look closely. Something betty and Archie took notice of. "Thank you Veroica. You didn't have to help Cheryl and yet you did. " her words came out thankfully. Her eyes held honestly and truthfulness. This caused veronica to smile. "No problem." Before she could say anything else though Phlox held out a single flower. A yellow daisy. Veronica looked confused but she took it anyway. Phlox glanced at the other three people and smiled. "Hi Jughead." And with that she and her food were gone.. leaving the group to laugh and be happy.

It wasn't till next day did something awful happen.
