Kaia sat in the backseat of Janice's car as they drove to the cemetery.  Her thoughts were all over the place and she remained silent during the drive while Janice and Katia chatted.  Mainly about the wedding.  Janice asking what the date was now as it kept getting postponed.

"We're here," Janice said after about fifteen minutes as she pulled through a large wrought iron gate that led to the cemetery.

Kaia straightened up in her seat as she glanced out the window.  She noticed that it wasn't a large cemetery and it looked very peaceful.  She could see the ocean and saw several trees that lined the drive.  "How far is her grave?" She asked as she clutched the flowers in her hands.

"Just up over the hill," Janice said.  "Well, at the bottom of the hill.  Her..her grave overlooks the ocean," she said.  This wasn't easy on her.  It had been several years since she had visited Summer's grave.  "We couldn't afford a big fancy headstone or anything like that when she died and we thought...well, I thought this was the perfect place for her to be."

Katia smiled at Janice.  "I'm sure it's beautiful," she said as they headed down the small hill and Janice put the car into park.  She opened the passenger door and got out and looked around.  She saw a few people at some gravesites but all in all it was very private and quiet and peaceful.  "Where is it?" She asked Janice as she got out of the car and moved to her side.

"It's right over there," Janice said pointing to a small heart shaped headstone.  "Are you ready?"

Katia felt her heart begin to race a little.  "Yeah, I guess so," she said and looked back at the car and saw that Kaia hadn't gotten out of it yet.  She opened the door.  "Kaia," she said and reached for her sister's hand.  "I've got you," she said as she could see so much apprehension on Kaia's face.  "We do this together, remember?"

Kaia got out of the car and took a hold of her sister's hand.  "I know," she said as she looked and saw Janice heading towards their mother's grave.

"Are you ready?"

Kaia nodded her head.  "Yeah," she said as she felt her stomach do flip-flops.  Part of her wished that Zayn was there with her, but she knew this was something she and Katia needed to do on their own.

They headed towards where Janice had gone, holding each other's hand tightly.

Bruce was getting into his car when he felt like the hair on the back of his neck stand straight up.  He turned back to look towards Summer's grave and he saw two women.  Both with long blonde hair.  He couldn't help but gasp, especially when one of the women turned her head back and looked at him.  "Summer?"

Katia felt like someone was watching them and she turned her head back over her shoulder and nearly stumbled as she walked.  She couldn't believe her eyes.  She would've recognized him anywhere.  It was their father.  What was he doing here she couldn't help but wonder.  She could see the sheer look of shock on his face and she nearly stopped dead in her tracks.

"Kat, are you okay?" Kaia asked as she noticed her sister's faulty steps and then looked in the direction that her sister was looking and saw a man watching them.  "Oh my God, is that...."

Katia spun her head back around to look at her sister.  "Yes," she said and wrapped her arm around her sister's waist.  "Come on," she said.  "We're not here to see him," she said.  She had incredibly mixed feelings over their birth father, but she had a feeling that was part of what Kaia had been searching for her whole life.  But she would also protect Kaia at every cost and not let her heart be broken, because that's what she feared would happen.  "We'll cross that bridge when the time comes," she said and looked at her.  "But today is not that day."
