"Come on Lilly this is the third time this week" My mum said heaving her stiff tired body across the room
" I know but he keeps comings back" I say apologetically
"What did he do this time"
My mum asked finally sitting down on the bed displacing the handmade blanket" he walked through the blue flames, came straight to me and asked if I awoke him. I said what you told me to do and he huffed then asked to see my wrist, so in fear I showed him. He said to meet him in the clearing in the woods tomorrow after dusk, and if I don't go he will come and hurt you and dad again"
Mum smiles and dropped her head down. As she did that I searched my room. An uneasy feeling flooded through my bones as I examined the walls. The dark oak was now worn and old. The small moon crest carpet was saggy and torn mainly from the way the water fell, almost filling the missing part of the moon. My bed has begun to fuse with nature, as vines spiralled across the Woden frame giving a calming fairy look to it. I noted in my head that the fairy's at the back of the garden may feel very welcome by the look. My thought process was disturbed by a gentle thud from my mum. Her eye had fallen out again and was rolling towards the small pool she looked at me smiling.
"He can't hurt us more than he already has" her voice was croaky I could see a large hole in her face were her eye used to be all that was left was decomposing flesh. She went to open her mouth to speak but all that happened was maggots piled out from the back of her throat and fell onto my bed squirming around. The room begun to smell like rotting flesh the walls started to gain black kiss mold that was associated with death and bad luck. I screamed. I screamed like a wild beast about to die. It hurt me to see my mother decompose In front if me. Her skin began to blister and pop cussing her it to shine brightly. Then she grew larger in size and she cried in a broken voice
"Lil-ly L-l-ug" she cried my nickname " he did this already there is nothing more he can do."
Suddenly her body began to liquify leaving a pale phantom skeleton and foul smelling liquid that was drenching the first quilt.
I had to get out of there now.
Quickly.
I awoke in the orphanage bed and marked my tally. 123 times I've had the same dream I thought to my self when will it end. The orphanage mother from block B -my block and who everyone called mummy- took long graceful strides towards me as a small group of work fairy's trails behind her. Her pale skin was clear and beautiful, she had waist long raven black curly hair and a Radiant smile that brightened up everything around her. Her strong caring personality was worn proudly on her face. And the small floral dress that hung just pass her dress swayed as she walked.
"Same dream" she asked in a calm voice
"Yes except he wants me to meet him in the clearing in the wood tomorrow after dusk" I said turning out the window to face the wood
"You want to go don't you" she said her smile slowly fading
" Maybe. A little" Mummy's eyes raised as she smiled again " OKAY yes I do"
"Oh Lilly the only way I can do that is if you take midnight and tulip" Tulip was a strong working fairy and midnight was a worrier elfin.
They normal went with Lucy when she went in small adventures around the grounds. But this was no small adventure she was going into a wood at dusk and may not be home till very early morning. She was willing to do this though.
Nothing's suppressed Lilly Mondue. Last living heir of the S.K.M.O - That stood
