Only Time Will Tell (Future Edd x Reader)

Prologue

You've been friends with Edd and the gang since kindergarten. So when you needed a place to stay after moving out of your parent's house in (your hometown/state), they immediately asked, or should I say commanded you to live in London with them since they had an extra room. And as you know, living with these guys is an EDDventure.

You guys went through everything together. Like zombie apocalypses, Edd and Tord fighting over the last piece of bacon (you would sometimes join in, but you would also sometimes eat it while they were distracted), Tord moving away, alien abductions, Edd (And Eduardo) getting superpowers, Matt turning into a vampire, you turning into a (favorite monster), meeting your future selves, and so much more! It was a great life. That was until Tord came back. All of you, except for Tom, were so glad when Tord came for a surprise visit! Or so you guys thought.

You guys later found out that Tord was hiding a GIANT Robot underneath your backyard all this time. You majorly burned your right arm, eye, and half your face from protecting Tom from a missile that Tord fired, making them disabled. (Basically like Tord but on the opposite side)

After Tom shot a harpoon through the robot, defeating Tord, they rushed you to the hospital as quick as they could. Edd almost had a panic attack when he thought they were too late, and you were dead. But he was relieved when he found out you were going to live. But, with the damage done to your body, they needed to replace your burned arm, eye, and half your face with robotic ones.

They never left your hospital room unless visiting hours were over. They waited weeks for you to wake up, and when you did, they all (yes, even Tom) cried tears of joy and hugged you tightly.

After they let you out of the hospital, you moved into your own apartments that were luckily next door to each other. Your lives were great again and you may have started to develop a crush on the cola loving green bean. You were never able to tell him because then years later in 20XX, Tord's Red Army attacked and took over London and banned Cola.

You, Tom, Matt, and Edd went into hiding and fought against Tord and his Army. Eventually, you guys ended up getting separated and the boys got captured while you escaped. One time, you sneaked into the Red Army base to try to find anything you can use to take him down. But the alarm sounded preventing you to do so. Tom saw you running away from the army soldiers and he hid you from them and gave you some kind of watchlike device. He said that could be useful and help change the future.

Before he could answer your question on what it was, a soldier shouted out that they found you. Luckily they didn't see Tom with you. He created a diversion to help you escape as you promised him you would be back for him, Matt, and Edd. You never found out what the device was or how to use it. But you weren't giving up. If it could possibly save your friends, you were going to figure it out. One way or another...
